  • spiders arent cute or cuddly.in my opinion they are scary.but i cant really help that since i think i probley have like arachnaphobia.but to most ppl they arent cute or cuddly. normal ppl who like them say they are beautiful.and it makes it twice as weird considering u are a guy. but u know this is the comments section madefor opinions.

  • @03192000kelsey I respect your opinion! It's only those who scream "kill it with fire" that piss me off. Otherwise comment away, I don't really believe in blocking/deleting comments since this is the internet, and the more comments the merrier. However, from my point of view tarantulas are very fuzzy, and cuddly animals (even though they hate contact). Funny thing is I am more nervous around "true" spiders. Due to the fact they are more harmful, and harder to identify. Plus tarantulas have......

  • @03192000kelsey Tarantulas have a specific way of biting. Meaning they will almost always raise up on their legs and threaten you with their fangs. Whereas "true" spiders have pincer like fangs that they don't need to raise up in order to threaten or strike. Tarantula fangs are like daggers -straight up and down motion-, and "true" spiders' fang's crisscross, sort of like pinching someone with your fingers.

  • @03192000kelsey But I always like to keep in mind that all spiders are solitary and rarely want to make contact with humans. If you see one chances are it is going to leave you alone, and the only contact that may happen is if you either agitate it, spook it and it accidentally touches you, or you touch it. Spiders like to mind their own business, so when I see one I tend to look the other way and let it go about its own business. Trust me, you are more of a threat to them than they are to you.

  • @demonjack123 i really dont hate them or nething like that...just that im not into them thats all...they dont bother me unless they are in my house lol...but im more into snakes, reptiles that sorta thing i just enjoy watching videos where people actually show respect for an animal

  • @03192000kelsey Cool! Very late response by the way! =P

  • @demonjack123 had to get my computer fixed sorry

  • @03192000kelsey Ah, okay =) glad you got it fixed! =)

  • calm down lol

  • @SmilesHK I can't lol! I wanted to get her out as soon as possible for fear she would die any minute!

  • thats awesome! keep up the good work :)

  • @tylermcq1 Thanks!

  • What type of light did you get? It took my avic a few days to calm down it's no biggie.

  • @JayMadison30 Its a type of night lamp It's a blue light 25W and it simulated tropical heat and the tarantula cannot see this type of light so it will be totally oblivious to it in its cage. Don't worry I do not use it for heating, but I am pretty confused since I dont have a thermometer to check humidity.

  • @demonjack123 well most of the hygrometers in the pet stores aren't too accurate, kinda depends how wound up you wanna get over humidity.

  • @JayMadison30 Meh I just want to make sure humidity isn't too low!

  • You might wanna keep one of those clear plastic deli cups (free from most super markets) to move her

  • @JayMadison30 Sorry mate was asleep) but yea I kept it. I dumped the dirt out and washed it was hot water and wiped it clean and let it air dry. I most likely won't use any type of container to move her because if you noticed I moved her from the cup to her enclosure with my hands. I might use a container if I think it is too dangerous for her to be out.

  • Awesome congrats on the new T :) I doubt an avic would bite you, it would probably just shoot stuff at ya.

  • @JayMadison30 I love this little spider! So far she just crawled up the branch and has cuddled up into a ball of fuz at top with barely any movement. I'm tempted to hold her but I restrain myself and just stroke her leg (apparently she doesn't like that since she wiggled her butt...AKA poo warning LOL)
