Actaully, I think they have been quite conservative. I went there last week, from Roma Street it took me exactly 23 minutes to the centre of the Springfield CBD! No traffic lights, and a good road.
Does anyone know if that little parcel of land at the corner of greenbank arterial and grand avenue is going to have some little shops soon? A bakery, barber and newsagent would be good. The only newsagent in the springfield Lakes side of the suburb is in Orion and doesn't open until around 9, and IGA is an 11k round trip from my place in Park edge. It would be great if people can just walk down to get the paper in the morning instead of driving everywhere..

I think the driving times stated in this ad are a bit wishful....30 mins to Bris??...maybe at midnight if you are really, really speeding.
