Fact of the matter is: you can't declare peace unless God deems it suitable for you to do so. If God orders you into battle, you should not even second-guess His Command! If you know anything about the Book of the Covenant, written by Moses, and ordered so by God, you would see that all these consequences for disobeying the 10 Commandments, spoken first on Mt. Horeb by God, then written by God on the two tablets, were adjacent to what the people that were punished were doing (even Israel, herself). God pleaded with Israel to repent for their disobedience...

This Is the Typical Argument All Atheist and now Muslims use against Christians.
