@azerty7889 I have all Beatle studio albums. But those are in a separate pile, have not had time to make any more videos. :) But I sure do have that psychedelic masterpiece!
@111019951 Thank you thank you thank you revolution 1940 for sharing your album collection!!! I was trying soo hard to remember the name of the group that did the album (I can't spell) Renesance and there it was in your collection Vanilla Fudge!! Can't make a big enough smile :D I had the album but must've left at a boyfriend's house, lol, how many of us have lost our albums that way, huh? yeah...thanks again!!
@49kasey And does the ebsence of those apparent "best" albums make me less of a fan? I think not :) I would not say B.A.T.E is the top 3. Not at all :) But thanks again for the comment!
VERY nice collection! I'm very familiar with 80% of it. I'm surprised that I didn't see Jefferson Airplane's "After Bathing At Baxter's". Also "Crown Of Creation" and Jefferson Starship "Blows Against The Empire". These are their best, most psychedelic albums, especially the first I mentioned.
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.
Salut, vous aimez les sixties ? Ecoutez et podcatez mon émission "le super son des sixties" sur plum fm. Salut et faites gaffe au rock'n roll.
you need to check the dates on quiet a few of those so called 60's albums as some of them are not original 60's releases and also some as you know are 70's and 80's,
well thanks for your info. but I really don't care if they are all originals or from the 70's and 80's. I know some of them are, and I can tell you that many of these are originals :)
Ha Fat Mattress, havenot thought about them for a long time, and what about Vanilla Fudge, I remember them playing "Keep me hangin on" just great. And Surealistic Pillow, used to have that album, wonder where that is now..... And Iron Butterfly, In a gadda da vida ( (Doug Ingle is reported to have said the title was an alcohol-slurred version of "In the Garden of Eden", ) later told as a funny anecdote.... great music from a great time.......
Then you have quite a skewed opinion on what is psych music. No self respecting psych collector would call Long Distance Voyager a psych record. The early Moody Blues records like A Question of Balance or On The Threshold of a Dream maybe.
@jgfergus I wanted to keep it in with the MoodyBlues:) I don't consider that album psych. It was there to be along with the other MB albums. But thank you for the comment! :)
Thanks! Those albums are incredible, especially the Arthur Brown one, I wish more people could hear the tunes off that album, excluding 'FIRE' Which is great, but there are so many other fantastic tunes:)
I totally agree with you. 'Fire' is a great song, but its the only one you ever hear by Arthur Brown, and he has so many great, underestimated songs. I like his song 'Nightmare' too. Its very moody and abstract. Does your Peanut Butter Conspiracy album have the song 'Back In L.A.' on it? That is my favorite favorite PBC song!
Yes! Nightmare is a great tune. And my PBC album does not have Back in L.A on it. Their album 'For Children of All Ages' from 1968 has it. Which I do not have :( but hope to find somewhere.
excelente colección amigo,...y en cuanto a Odyssey & Oracle, en mi opinión es un album fantastico en plena transición del beat a la sicodelia, una maravilla
Love this track from The Zombies. Colin Blunstone is one of the most overlooked singers of the era. "Odyssey & Oracle" now rightly given it's 'classic' status. Nice to see the Johnny Rivers album in amongst all that other good stuff. Cool collection man.A.
TenYearsAfter Sssssh, is an amazing album! And I included it in my psych video because of the cover, and the inside cover! It is so sick, plus they do have some psych tunes for sure. I consider them Psychedelic Blues. They are unreal.
rocking collection! downloading is not half as much fun as listening to vinyl. Your collection reminded me to some vinyls I still want to have, so I have some searching to do...
Today's miniaturized cd artwork pales to these great record albums - not to mention the music quality. Nice collection... goes well with the Zombies tune (from the Oddessy & Oracle lp).
LSd was a thing of the '60s I can recall. Many have done it in my generation. You could walk up to any longhair back then and ask them for some acid and voila, off you go!
Thanks so much!!! I love vinyl, and psychedelic. Since this video I have gotten about 15 new psychs, and like 30 new various artists! So, I will have to make an updated vid sometime:) thanks for the kind words
great collection! you should get the album by 'the first edition' with kenny rogers. it's from the 60's and has the song 'just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in' made fameous by the film 'the big lebowski'. Great album.
i got a lot of those but on e thing i notice u dont have that i do is any country joe ou like them ?where did u get most of these they are great i live in goergia and the only good stuff i can fing in antiqes stores is psyc folk rock rolling stones and beatles nothing else really its a bummer
I absolutely love Country Joe, just havnt come across the early stuff. I have one C-J that may not be in there, if I could I would make an updated video because I have gotten many gems since that video. And I get my vinyl from garage sales, flea markets, old people, friends, and e-bay
i have the original 1st pressing country joe and the fish electric music for the mind and body-1967,im gonna put my record collection on here when i get a camera
Awesome man! I have the original first pressing BOB DYLAN 1962- his first album-. Now that is what I call a gem :) And what I have posted on here are only my Psychedelic and Sunshine Pop, I have about 300 more of a great collection of really awesome music, but I do not have time to video those. Maybe in the future,
