  • WOW! I think that you are very good :) I need to push myself. Are you also doing the diet? I am debating about that... mainly cuz I am cheap and do not wanna have to buy my own separate groceries which will likely be devoured by the rest of the household anyways.   • Today was my first time trying the P90x Chest and back, OMG its almost 5 hours later and im still sore, Alot of the push ups I couldn't do I ended up falling on my face

  • This is my 4th day resting after the 1st day. My arm, back and abs were aching so much that I can't push myself out of bed. I thought I was in shape, but p90x kick the sh1t out of me on the first workout. I think today I will continue to my 2nd day workout (after 4 days of resting). I ended up buying the protein powder yesterday for muscle recovery, so I am really hoping I can start again. Cross my fingers and pray that I can commit to finish. Goodluck to you all.

    anyhow after the workout i felt kinda worned out and dead tired,not to mention kida sick like i was gonna puke!...but let me tell you, in all the fitness sessions with personal trainers in the past, none made me feel in 3 sessions what tony did in one! dam, I thought, this men is gonna be the death of me, I love it!!

  • I think you did great for your first day. Just keep it up and eventually you will both realize and show others that determination and consistency is the key. Good job!

  • i finished day 3 today and ive never been this sore before in my life. after each workout i go run about 3 miles and i have lost 4 pounds!

  • haha yea, plyometrics killed me, but after the first week its all good, back to normal lol

  • Props for the P90X workout; however, the X-stands for Xtreme. Its by no means a workout for the beginner, its not some sort of novelty thymaster. If you can't do a single full bodyweight pullup, or a single full bodyweight pushup with proper form, P90X isn't for you. You have to be in reasonable shape before starting, thats what the 'fit-test' is for. Start with cardio and diet to get down to proper weight first. I'm on my 3rd iteration of the program.

  • one tough lady, big ups to you. i started one week ago and it kick my butt but i sticked wit it n' now im on my second week and i can already see some changes. i can't wait day 90. i was wonder if you finished the entire 90 days? and if you have some video of it? thanks and again great job

  • all you need is a DVD player, set of dumbbells or resistance bands; a pull up bar. Now the next few are not necessary but recommended push up bars, yoga mat, yoga blocks.

  • Great! Thanks! I've done Body for Life (Bill Phillips' book) and now re-staarting using Billy Blanks videos. I am so envious of your apt. gym, nice! I am looking to buy the Perfect Pushups and now the Perfect Pullups w straps that just came out, as I did see in the commercial that pullups are a big part of the program. Wonder where all that snow is you got!

  • It is pretty amazing how quickly your body starts to change. My arms and back are starting to tone up nicely. V roll up combos are right up there with dive bombers.

  • Awesome! Keep up the good work :) My stomach is tighter but other than that I haven't really noticed much yet...unless pain and crabbiness count ;)

  • Congrats on finishing day 1! I'm sure you did a great job. I have Kenpo tomorrow, then the end of week one on Sunday. This is definitely a challenging program. Tonight is the first time all week that I haven't been achy and sore...so it does get better. Its nice to have so many people to 'hang in there' and 'BringIt!' with. Enjoy Plyometrics tomorrow :)

  • It is a very nice gym. It's one of the main reasons I moved into this apartment complex. It's hard to make excuses not to workout when your gym is less than a 5 minute walk away. The fact that it's almost always empty is a nice bonus.

  • Yea I did. I did P90X Lean. I start my 2nd round with P90X Classic on Monday. You get into the groove. It does get easier but you will have your good days and bad days.

  • Its good that your commiting to P90X, i remember when i first did P90X, chest & back was the first vid, and i was sore for about a week, in fact that was about 4 months ago, now i just started yesterday with P90X+, but good luck and don't give up.

  • I finished Yoga X this morning which was difficult but helped with the soreness. I'm looking forward to Kenpo on saturday. Did you get good results on the program?

  • The Abs were hard, I had to pause it a few times. I'm hoping to be able to finish it without stopping by the end of next week. Wait 'till you get to Plyo...Tony says it's the mother of all X workouts. That boy knows how to bring the pain.

  • Thank you Cowbucs. I just finished Plyo today. It was a little more than I bargained for, but I felt awesome after. I'm looking forward to seeing the results.

    Winter came late this year but man it's making up for it with all this snow. A little heat sounds good right about now. I guess the grass is always greener... ;)

  • for some reason something happened with youtube and it wouldn't let me type anymore......i know you are just starting as well and will take some time to analyze the moves and get them down...and it will take time to be able to do them all ...correctly....just keep bringing it and pushing play and also i would recommend watching KENPO first before you do it so you can see the moves and know which arm to punch with first......

  • It's hard to tell sometimes while you're doing a move if it's correct or not.Although I wasn't planning on it, recording my workouts has given me a chance to review and correct my form. Thanks for the tip on Kenpo, I'll take a look before I get to it.

  • lol i love your videos great editing.....couple things watch your form in the hip rock and raise make sure you never touch the floor in between and on the wide leg situps right hand to left foot, left hand to right foot its now right hand to left then right foot....just fyi

  • I realized about half way through that I was doing the wide leg situps wrong but by then I just wanted to muscle through instead of staring over. Your input helps a lot, thanks for watching. Good luck with your workouts!
