  • Nice setup Bro !!!

  • I use Canon 500D and I'm deciding between Sigma 10-22mm f/3.5 that you review and Canon 10-22 f/3.5-5.6.

    Please help me. Thank you

  • @eosbill Depends on your budget, canon lenses will always have better quality, but some people don't care that much.

  • Thumbs up for a hut in a room!

  • Just saying, but: an 18mm standard lens on a camera body with a 1.6 crop factor becomes a 28.8 (29) mm lens whereas a 10mm lens becomes a 16mm lens. thats quite a difference.

  • Does this lens for Nikon have an AF/M switch on it?

  • @TokyoFreeze79 yep (ofcourse.. LOL)

  • @idkagoodusernameyet

The 10-20 F4-5.6 doesn't for Nikon. Glad to see this one does.

  • thanks! I bought it now!

  • have you checked out lens flare so much better on the new 1

  • Last two comments made me lol!

  • um i gotta d3100 with the lens it comes with, and when i shoot videos it blurs the background, how do i stop that?

  • @VeezyMusicTV lower the aperture lulz.

  • @VeezyMusicTV open ure aperture to about 5.6 or even maybe higher, crank up you're ISO to 3200 if you can, done

  • nice review mate. has the price of this lens gone up lately? does it worth buying a used one? cheers

  • It's Keith Lemon!!

  • The "EX" in Sigma lenses means Excellent, a Sigma label for their pro-grade lenses, similar to Canon's "L"

  • How did you realized the intro ?

  • Maaaan I hate Rubicon Guava

  • are you recording this on the d3100 mic

  • @aliannab2009 yes, and bumped up the gain... the mic isnt great on the D3100

  • @nerdishcouk

Yeah, but you can always (real simple right?.... bleh!) dissect the sound from the video and fix it with a program such as Goldwave and reassemble it. Can't stand the 3100 mic.

  • Hahahaha your left arm looks very weird haha

    nice review :D

  • Oh yeah! didn't notice that. This lens has some really bad barrel distortion (something i didn't mention) but is to be expected with something so wide.

  • @nerdishcouk Hey just wanted to point out that the enlarged left arm is not due to barrel distortion. It's actually due to the perspective properties of the lens. Wide angle lenses tend to cause objects closer to it look dramatically larger than those further away. This is why portrait photographers use longer lenses, to correct this perspective issue aka compressing the fore and background. Barrel distortion has more of a curving effect on the edge of the image. Thanks for the great review!

  • i want this lens soo much, but as you say i am going to look on ebay, i am just starting out and your videos are more then useful :) keep up the good work mate
