the way you removed them is not rite. i went to the eye doctor and they send to open your bottom lid, then push the contact down. then use youthumb and pointer finger (not yout nails) to peel it off

.... what about the bacteria in your mouth?? you know that bacteria causes bad breath and tooth decay so you know there's bacteria in your mouth. saliva is antiseptic (it does kill certain bacteria), but it also contains bacteria in itself. if your cornea had a tiny scratch or if your eye was a bit irritated from makeup or whatever, that would not be a safe thing to do. i wouldn't do it, but hey, if it works for you...
