Yeah, but he was a nice driver though, said it was fine to take vids, he didn't mind. Yeah, it is annoying when they drive off fast. A very, very rare ASL in Australia, sadly I don't know when I will be down at my grandads house, so I don't know when I can get more vids of it.
Hey, we don't necessarily have to know when we can see more, as long as you have a connection with one! BTW, do you or anyone else have any idea what the trucks are like on the western side of Australia? Is there a chance that these are more common there?
Yeah, its a split truck, but like no other!! I still have to upload the rest of the vids, and I might just do a quick vid of some of the photos that I got as well.
Yeah, it would probably be like a walk in the park for this driver to operate, but probably harder for a new driver. But like you said, if you can master this truck, you can master just about any truck!! I also like it in how it has the MJ Rtagrab arm, instead of the newer Richards made arms, the twin actuators, I think are a better than the single hydraulic cylinder system as well.
A "walk in the park"... perfect way to put it :D Only the Solo SLs have the single hydraulic, JJR one's have twin cylinders - so they could be about equal in that sense.
Yeah, but I have some more vids of the truck with the water jet, except it is harder to see because it blows the lid open just before the bin reaches the hopper. But you can still see it work!!
i agree with trashman242, very intresting

Real interesting, definitely an ASL I'd like to see more of! Great find, sorry he went so fast! That can be annoying when you don't have a bike!

Yeah, it is like no other truck around! I have some more, longer vids of it coming as well, but they are still not long.
macdonaldjohnstonfan 3 years ago
This one is very different indeed!

It would be great to see how the conveyor works...
SquishDoll 3 years ago
Yeah it sure would, it does have a paddle packer for the bottom compartment.

Sweet! Still can't believe how fast the drivers get the bin on the teeth, it's hard when the truck's stationary!
MitchellM15 3 years ago
Thanks!! Yeah, it definately would be harder than with the grabbers, but in some ways, a bit more entertaining!
macdonaldjohnstonfan 3 years ago
Very entertaining. Though I suppose the drivers are used to it now. I reckon if you can master this you can master any truck.

And the lid was open when he arrived, I was hoping to see a water jet lid operation.... but i guess that goes into my ufo wanna see collection.
