@ZBTdave test with the "edit" function...you can customize each pad,in head(centre pad) and rim(edge pad)

I just bought a TD-12 kit, i've got nylon tip drumsticks and a double bass pedal with plastic beaters, how long do you suspect the kit will last? i plan to take very good care of it and i never tend to beat the shit out of my kits, and if it breaks can you replace individual parts?

@tubedice999 I've been beating the shit out of my td-12 for about two years, and it's still in mint condition. One tip though is not to use felt beaters, I hear that felt dust gets jammed into the mesh, causing it to stretch and eventually tear. But you should have no problems hitting hard with wooden sticks and plastic beater. Its a drum kit after all, hit it hard if you like :)

Using felt beaters on your KD-120 is a bad idea, the felt eats away at the mesh. Switch to plastic
