could you plz tell me the details about the line tracer? how the it decrease the speed before entering cornor? n parts used in the bot..would u mind to share ur info? send me the details on my email. my email address is jonghun_99@naver.com
@bearchuang0989 can you please send me some information on how to build one of these robots myself. what program or software did you use and what will i have to purchase... email: seun8ball@hotmail.com (or) s00082699@itsligo.ie.
@reesk92 haha my thoughts exactly.... this robot doesnt follow the line. it follows instructions from the marks on the side of the line... you could take the line away and it would still do the same thing. i had a little plastic car from the 80s that you fed a bit of card in the front - and it has holes in it which told it wether to go left right or straight.
However im not knocking this one cause it is mighty impressive. it just doesnt follow the line it follows outside instruction....
@bashatonic not true, it's following the line, the markers are there to mark turns. you first do a test run (at low speed) and the robot records where are all the turns, so later it could go faster on straight parts and slow down just before the turn.
@zohurap but i could put down a 'robot' that only went forward and claim it follows the line. the only thing making the robot turn is the marks. not the line, so therefore its following the marks and not the line. if it remebers where it is it is following stored instructions therefore not the line.
@bashatonic i ve seen similar lines on other tracks used for speed line following i think it aids the root to go faster by telling it when its safe to accelerate kind how we accelerate when we come out of a corner
its definatley acknowlodging the mark cause it beeps on them

@bearchuang0989 hi bearchuang, can you send me your program/schematic diagram for your LFRobot? here are my emails: admin@glennvon.com or glenn_boy13@yahoo.com thank you .:)
@bearchuang0989 Can you send me all details about this line follower robot???
like circuit diagram, Programming, etc......

It obviously knew the path before hand, since it slowed down before reaching the turns.

or a run with out the marks. to see if it follows the line.

can you guys do a run without the line please? i would like to see if it follows the line or the marks you have laid down for it.
Thanks

what motor driver you used?
did you give reverse PWM when turning?
which encoder to measure the speed?
do you use PID to calculate the angle of rotation?
cscchua 4 months ago
the robot need know distance.
speed control function can calculate deaccelerate moment.
bearchuang0989 4 months ago
How does it know when to deaccelerate?

hi whats the purpose f the mark on thr track i can guess the last line on the finish tells the robot to stop but whats the other lines for

case dismissed.

@bashatonic ignorance is bliss.

@zohurap okay so lets get them to do it without the line then. see if it works. it wont.

@bearchuang0989 Is the robot allowed to memorize the path so it can make better predictions next time? (Cool vid! Thanks!)
