  • @stratmaniac, fuzz is where it's at. OD

is the amps job. One distortion pedal,

one OD pedal, and 4 fuzz in my chain.

  • Protip, you're doing it wrong.

  • django..nice

  • Django!....nice.

  • White coily cable of pleasure LOL ... Dude your demos kick ass!!! Rock on!!

  • holy shit is this Jack Black?

  • @trogador95 yes it is the one and only Jack Black

  • @dell4bq no way.... take a video and show your face..... then sell me one of your Tenacious D guitars

  • dokken sound!

  • Can i use this pedal to boost the lead's channel of my peavey 6505?

  • @Butch02100 not really. these are preamps not pedals. it will bypass your amps tone and give you its own, it won't just add distortion like an od pedal would. that being said you could use it as an extra channel on your amp but it won't boost your 6505 it will just sound like itself

  • What's the 2nd out for?

  • @JosephGallagher

The top left output is for going straight into a PA or mixer or PC.

  • @JosephGallagher Its a cabinet sim...like most others, its not that good. But when you use it the way AMT recommends, it really does nail a good Bogner tone. Plug into the fx return of your amp (it bypasses the preamp and only uses the power amp) and voila...Bogner in a box. I owned this pedal for a while, its worth the money and AMT is the bees knees.

  • Good gain, nice feedback, awesome riffing. I like the way you tweeked the knobbies to change your tone. Good vid. Keep rockin it, and rock it hard! Later.

  • The AMT pedals are actually pre-amps that work best driving a power amp or plugged into the return of an effects loop.

  • @linkwray22

srry man, how do i find tha in my marshall avt150?

  • All of these amt pedals are quite awful.

  • is it just me or do these amt's sound "a bit" trebly?

  • @stratmaniac It's not you. I noticed that too.

These AMT pedals are designed to be used a preamps. NOT dirt boxes in the traditional sense. Their recommended use is direct into a PA or into the return of your amps FX loop thus only using your amps power section.

The way GMD has it hooked up, which is into the front input of the amp, is not the way AMT recommends using the Legend pedals.

No offense GMD. I still love watching your demos! I wish you'd use the Les Paul more though.

  • @8bigtubes well that explaines a lot. maybe i should start studying more about pedals other than fuzzers..:D

  • @8bigtubes Excuse me, dude, but just as the AMT official site said, the AMT legend amp pedals have...

TWO signal outputs: DIRECT AMPLIFIER OUT for guitar amplifier use and CAB SIMULATION OUT for mixer, or studio use.

  • @lordkaguaman So what's your point?

What they mean by Direct Amplifier Out is that you're still supposed to use the pedal like a PREAMP. Into the fx return of your amp and NOT like normal dirt boxes.

  • @stratmaniac This one has an excuse..its based off the Bogner Triple Giant's sharp channel...so its supposed to be pretty bright

  • @RNRDOLL but all of the AMT's seem trebly to me:D but again, i'm into fuzzers so i'm not the one to judge these boxes

  • where'd the maz 18 go?

  • Wasn't until I heard the excellent fuzz demos that I realised I'm well in favour of it over distortion.

    Thanks for the lesson, GMD!

  • Ramones1234100 Hey GMD, where are all the amps at? I mean no disrespect, but it's been pedal after pedal since you did the Blackhearts like a few months ago...

  • Wholy crapamoly thats actually a good sounding pedal.nice demo gmd
