  • This theme is made of win

  • 240p for HD

  • No swimming over rifles.

  • he picked computers over rifles and he is dead. What a shame.

  • d(^_^)b

  • my vision is augmented - I can see in a total of 16 colors!

  • "Fire Flowers. I like to make a silent take down"

  • 18-bit graphics? what a shame

  • game is epic to bad people don't know that deus ex is already a series and think human is a brand new game really sad

  • Heh cutscenes from DX in the NES style... somebody should defenitely do it! ;)

  • good times.

  • Shadowrun on the SNES sometimes felt like Deus Ex.

  • This'd be awesome.. But I think if I were to go old school, it'd have to be in the style of Fallout 1 & 2

  • lol, this is cool.

  • In 2112, war was beginning.

Jock: Someone set us up the bomb.

    JC: A bomb?

  • @Zylo587 All your base are belong to us, you are on the way of destruction.

  • @UnholySid JC: What you say?

  • @Zylo587 The whole planet is going to blow up. What a shame.

  • @UnholySid It was a good planet. What a shame.

  • @Zylo587 I never asked for it to be a good planet.

  • My pixels are augmented.

  • your NES is augmented

  • PUT ON A TRENCHCOAT AND FIGHT SOME CONSPIRACIES!

  • @BitChronic GAIN EXPERIENCE AND LEVEL UP ABILITIES!

  • My vision is pixelated ಠ_ಠ

  • Irony is a comment calling a game dumbed down ("dumed down" to quote exactly) spotted with spelling and grammatical errors, and in desperate need of punctuation.

  • Seven dislikes. What a shame.

  • @aidan456456 respect for system shock 2 brother

  • Sounds brill though

  • Too short. Does the theme loop after this or does it change?

  • If Deus Ex was released to the NES in the late 80... Instead of bars in the game it would be called "Cafe" and the beer and wine would be called "Soda" and "Tonics", the whores would just be called "Flowergirl" or "City girl", The "Hell Kitchen" would be called "Dark Kitchen". Drugs like the Zyme will probably be called "Candy". Ah those wacky Nintendo censorship

  • @hanchiman

    SAM CARTER

No one blames you about Lebedev. You refused an order to send him to the Shadow Realm in cold blood -- precisely your duty as a UNATCO peacekeeper.

  • @Ironsharp

Many of the killable enemies are robots and cyborg. The human enemies can't be killed, when you defeated Manderley he would give you a speech about the reason he betrayed Paul and JC before fainting.

The augmentation are used as a plot items to remove or avoid and obstacle.

Dragon tooth blade is the last weapon you get in the game and it was handed by a Maggie Chow as a magical girl telling you to slay the "Evils".

  • @hanchiman Deus ex does have soda!

  • @htfkid2000

Let change it to Fruit Juice then!

Can't think of any replacement for Cigarettes.

  • @hanchiman Candy Ciggarettes!

  • @htfkid2000

    Or maybe Pocky?

  • @hanchiman im pretty sure i saw tits and smoking ciggerates in one of my nes games.

  • @thefriendsociety

Those that slipped out from the censors, in Metal Gear they had cigarettes!

  • @hanchiman In the NES Bionic Commando, when you defeated the last boss, (Hitler!) you got to see his face explode close up.

  • @Dresdenstl

Yes the infamous Hitler/Master D headshot (and the "Damn Fool" comment). Wonder how it slipped past the censors. Probably those who play tested it rage quit after halfway thru the game and didn't see the last level.

  • @hanchiman Beer and Wine wear Coffee. Not Soda

  • @nybiker1

It looks like you used to like Earthbound too! :D

  • "@hanchiman The cigarette packs and cigarette vending machines would be called "Pretzel Sticks" and "Pretzel Snack Machine". The word terrorist would be called "Villian". The word thug would be called "Bad Person". The word night club, would be "Night Place". The word "Strip Club" would be called "Chicken" and have women in dresses, men in pants and a shirt. The word "Pimp'' would be called "meanie" The word "Illuminati", New World Order, or NWO would be called "Villain's Organization".

  • If Deus Ex was released to the NES in the late 80... Instead of bars in the game it would be called "Cafe", the whores would just be called "girl 1" and "girl 2", The "Hell Kitchen" would be called "Dark Kitchen". Drugs like the Zyme will probably be called "Candy".

  • Sounds like Zelda.

  • Deus Ex? More like Deus NES.

  • put on a trenchcoat and fight some conspiricies

  • Will you pick rifles or computers?

Don't pick swimming because it's fairly useless.

  • @TheStrongBadMan hm, lets see... if i pick computers, then i can hack myself around the security systems, and thus the guards... but if i pick rifles, i can kill all the guards and the security systems will have no effect! such a choice, such a choice...

  • @TheStrongBadMan You'd be surprised- there are a couple of points where a high swimming skill lets you skip an irritating bit of the levels. It's one of those overlooked skills in computer games.

  • @uberdeity bull

  • @TheStrongBadMan wow a lot of people have hears that!

  • @xXhalofan21Xx heard* and im talking about the song

  • Deus Ex to NES!!!!

  • hahahahahaha

  • I don't like NES type music, it's so ear-rapingly high. D:

  • NES Chiptune = awesome

    Deus Ex Theme = awesome

    Video = awesome

  • heh, strange idea but it seems to have worked out : )

  • Now make a sega genesis sound card version.

  • Comment removed

  • It annoys me how almost every "Nes remix" on youtube has more than two sound channels.

    Good one anyway.

  • Well Koji Kondo manages with the help of some nintendo ingeniers to abuse the nes sistem to simulate 4 channels using part of the sfx buffer

  • First level: "surrender UNATCO all your base belong to us"

  • O noes

  • now that was the standard for japaniese to english translations at the time i still remember FFIV "you spoony bard" those were the days before all this gears of war nonsense BTW i think dues ex was one of the last good fps in a looooong while and yes i thought about bioshock and not to sound like a pc elitest but bioshock is a dumed down console version of system shock including the story

  • @shrektheterd I think I found my soul-mate, finally a person who agrees with me on BioShock.

  • @Asiancomedian at least i can go to sleep with the peace in that there are people that fell the same about biodhock as me.

  • @shrektheterd If you want a non-dumbed down bioshock try system shock 2 ! It is its predecessor done in 2000 i guess. You can get it from online free in some websites (legally).

  • Doesn't matter how you make it, it's an awesome theme.

  • omfg..... DEUS EX = ZELDA!!!!!

  • Gordon Freeman and Jc Denton are brothers in crowbar already.

  • @rijndersnathan have you noticed that the crowbar sound in both games sounds exactly the same

  • deus ex 1.nuff said

  • 8-bit! :D

  • I would so play this game!

  • I really want to play Deus Ex on the NES. That would be great.

  • Sounds more like Sega Genesis than NES

  • :D .... The good old days...........

    THANKS!!!

  • sounds like a game-over song

  • The awesomesauce is strong with this one!

  • Lol.

  • I would play this.

  • I imagine lines like "Mistah JC Denton. In da fresh." and "Oh my God, JC, a bomb!" would be somewhat more dramatic without the voice-overs

  • @Ironsharp The first one would be a bit less racist.

  • You'd be a fool not to.

  • 8-bit! :D

  • 8-Bit Music is always awsome. :)
