2003 Mustang GT SLP LM1

SLP LM1 really doesn't sound too good on the '99-'04 GT's. I have it on my LS1 Camaro, and love the sound. Think the GT's are better sounding with Flowmaster...or anything besides SLP.

Sounds extremely good, comparable to most O/R X setups. Just enough rasp to make it sound good, no more, no less.

Nice! I also have a mustang. It's black and has neons in and out of the stang. The car also has Flowmaster Exsaust and cold airintake on the V* motor. check it out!

LM1 have little to no baffles in the resonators, while LM2 has more baffle inside the resonator and makes it a little less raspy i guess lol....

actually cops can do something about a loud exhaust. most states have a sound ordinance. its for very loud sound systems, motorcyles, and car exhaust. they normally carry a decibel meter to measure but if you fail they can write you a pretty hefty ticket. but whatever im picking up some LM2's for my 03 GT

yea my car has alot more done now, this was just with intake and catback...

now its full bolt-ons, dyno tuned, 3.73's FRPP, FRPP aluminum driveshaft, 315 DR on 10.5 DD Bullits, best time to date was a 12.61 @ 109..

i love the sound of my car and would not change it for anything, had it for 2 years with no cats and still havent been pulled over once.....

Love my LM1's man. Bout time a decent amount of people are tired of the same old flowmaster sound. This exhaust is a raw kinda sound, and is not for pussies concerned about being "too" loud. My buddy had LM1's, with an offroad X, and sold it because he got pulled over 1 damn time. I told him he was retarded, and theres no such thing as too loud. Whats the diff between LM1 and LM2?

LM2 is adjustable and customizable (and a *bit* more expensive). LM1 isn't. As it relates to sound, LM2s are typically a bit deeper and throatier, while LM1s sound like they wanna chew your face off.

i was stock here but now with o/r x-pipe, headers and full bolt-ons i dont like how it sounds at all, too raspy...

LM1 is resonated, louder and pretty raspy. LM2 is still a muffler, a little quieter

LM2 in my opinion, LM1's are horribly raspy and annoying. LM2's sound much better and are still loud

Flowmasters and magnaflow over stuff their mufflers to deaden the sound. SLP resonators are basically like having straight pipes. The SLP mufflers have a little stuffing added but not as much as magnaflow or flowmaster so they're a little bit louder but have that low rumble. But I agree..flowmasters are overrated.

its def. a difference between stock but as far as flowmaster im not sure, i personally like it not loud because it throws ppl off when a G35 or a 350Z rolls up lookin to race and they hear my take off on them and they have no chance.....

Its all about prefrence, Flowmaster is a more traditional sound that everyone has meanwhile SLP LM is new and not many ppl drive around with it yet...
