  • What is this guy on about! i am 13 and i do my cakes from home but if my cakes were of that standard i think i would be ashamed to put them on the internet, i mean look at the black strips around the bottom of the tiers (How Wonky) and i think you change the title.

  • THIS MAN HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT,LOOK AT HIS CAKES,LOOKS LIKE A 10 YRS OLD DECORATED THEM,,,I AM A PASTRY CHEF,AND A CAKE MASTER,,21 YRS EXP,AND A BAKERY OWNER,,,,DAN YOU ARE VERY BAD DECORATOR,,AND LOOK AT YOU BAKERY LOOKS VERY OLD AND DIRTY,SHAME ON YOU DAN,

  • Wat bunch of crap, wats this guy on about there's alot of talent out there he's bumbed out he ain one of them he also uses alot um's in his sentences for a so called professional why dont we all wear a white jacket and post a video wr can all be professionals like this post if this guy sux and home bakers rule um sorry i was wanted to know how to make a cake idiot!

  • LOL :-)

  • What? You call that professional looking cakes? I've never made wedding cakes but even I can do better than that because yours look very amateur-ish. Design is not even clean. Geez. What an embarrassment. Please change the title of the video to "Why you should choose our amateur looking 'professional' cakes".

  • The one thing I hate about some professionals - for instance, YOU - is that they don't enjoy making and decorating cakes for somebody. Home bakers who are deemed "amateurs" by you guys actually enjoy doing this, and they don't always get money out of it. The arts of cake making should be enjoyed greatly, and not be used purely for money-making.

  • "It's something we can do pretty quickly."

Going by the finish on those cakes, it was done pretty quickly. I mean, look at the uneven ribbon and fondant poking out from underneath. If I bought a professional cake that was finished like that, I would be livid.

  • This guy is insecure, home bakers r taking over his job so this is his cry for help lol

  • What a douchebag. I just made a wedding cake this past weekend, and I am nowhere near "professional". The bride said it was so beautiful that she cried. His cakes look standard. Nothing wow.

  • Please change the title for this video. As someone looking for tips on HOW TO make a wedding cake.. this was no help to me.

  • This is not true at all. I am not a professional and I ado not mind buying any of the necessary equipment. I have made beautiful cakes and cupcakes without being a "professional". Ummmm, it's called practice makes perfect!!! This guy is a jerk

  • Find weddings cakes from around the world, search for thebridaldirectoryservice

  • I....WHERE IS THE SYMMETRY IN THESE? They're so horrible! D:

  • i am 17 and have made cakes just as good if not better than those cakes i have mand 3 wedding cake and the people have been very happy and they were beautiful cakes just because we dont whear a pretty white coat don't meant we cant make beautifuly deatiled cakes so before you go knockin home decorateors go check some of them out first cus i'm pretty dang good...

  • @kfib1234 I couldn't agree more with you. I'm sure when he first got started it was right out of his moms kitchen lol I'm making my first wedding cake today at home and I wont let this video get me down :-)

  • i am 17 and have been making cakes that put that mess to shame u need to get your facts straight. i have made at least 3 wedding cakes and they were beautiful and the people were very happy with them so stop knockin a home decorator when they can do just as good if not better than that hot mess of a red, black and white cake........

  • wow yr cakes beautiful wow come home with me lol

  • for a fact...stores such as wilton's make it possible for "home people" produce more beautiful cakes...man...i agree with @AnitaHaven change the title dude...please.

  • home made cakes can be very detailed too and give a more personal/professional touch to it...but that looks like a good cake..simple and elegant...

  • I make cakes out of my home here in NL, Canada. I could do anything you've just showed and execute it with GREAT confidence !!

  • I'm a pastry chef so therefore I can still do cakes professionally from home what he is saying makes no sense, and i thought he was doing a tutorial...he's quite annoying

  • This guy says nothing about how to make a cake, waste of my time.

  • he keeps saying "UH" it totaly sucks

  • sloppy nuf said

  • Agreed, These cakes are easy.

  • Could he say, "Uh." One more time. I think I might have missed it! :(

  • Wouldn't be intimidating at all to make something that looks that crappy! I'd be embarrassed! Dude! Back aaaaaaaaway from the video camera! LOL

Do yourself a favor and take some more classes:)

Because if this is the deffinition of "professional"... it's scary!!!

  • I agree with a lot of the comments here. This Professional Chef's cakes are not all that. And where is the tutorial?

  • @armids1 there is no tutorial.. didnt you hear him? dont bother making it.. your not a proffessional! lol .. leave it to him :p

  • pff....giving san diego bakeries a bad name ...:/ tsk..tsk..

  • plus...he dosnt even show you how to make a wedding cake at all! he just tells you where to get em at! what a douche!

  • Cake.. Uhh...Uhh... Professional cakes are better.. Uhh.. Uhhhhhh. Idiot.

  • I think he's a bit of a jackass, I've been making cakes for 23 years and I don't know it all. He seems to think he does.

  • The dots were sloppily painted, it looks like he just slapped some stuff together!

  • I understand that you are a professional but dont knock us. Because we are just as good as you and probably even better. You do not have to have a store to be great. I took classes am in a club where I still learn new things from professionals that were on the foodnetork and on amazing wedding cakes.

  • All VERY true comments..and the top one wasn't centered correctly lol!!!

  • 'Why is this guy making "How To" videos when he clearly doesn't believe that a simple "Home baker" like me could ever rise to his level? His square cake is lopsided and the top tier isn't even centered. But maybe since I'm a person who chooses to bake at home, I am probably too un-professional to understand his artistic reasoning for it! I can charge half as much as he does for work that is more beautiful and handcrafted BECAUSE I work from my home!

  • i do bake cakes from home, and i have invested in all types and sizes of wedding pans, i can do any kind of cake the bride and groom wants, they can show me a picture, or i can sit down with them, and sketch out a picture, this guy is a pompas ass

  • i agree the finish on the square white and silver embossed cake is appalling i could do better than that and in fact i have

  • You are not a good advertisement for a professional , your cakes are shoddy and badly finished. You also talk a load of nonsense. Professional cake makers would be embarrassed by your comments.

  • the square one looks lopsided

  • umm......i think he needs to rename his video. this is not "how to make a professional wedding cake" but "why to buy a professional wedding cake"

  • Even though this guy sounds like a snob I think he is talking about someone who is experienced in cake making (regardless of wether they work from home or a store) rather then a relative that sometimes makes a box cake with tub icing.

  • This putz is insulting to those who spend their time at home making cakes just as, if not more, beautiful. What an ass.

  • I agree that the title of this needs to be changed. I don't think people would be so upset if the title wasn't "How to MAKE a professional wedding cake at home" bc that's what they came to this video to learn a& all of sudden you have a guy telling them that they can't do it at home because they wouldn't turn out a great cake (which is completely un-true, but not my point). It ruffles feathers when you seem to have a vid that teaches and instead it's a vid that tell them they aren't good enough.

  • :)

  • Hmmm I'm not a professional, but I can do all these cakes he just demonstrated. What a douchebag. The title needs to be changed.

  • If i'm honest i thought the cakes you had in front of you were examples of home made cakes :/

  • And to buy a wedding cake it can cost you hundreds, some people just don't have that kind of money.

  • ...and why would a home baker have trouble doing this...?

  • He is not that bad, he's just trying to convince people on buying cakes in a shop! Anyways it doesn't work because I already bought all the stuff to do my fondant cake!! AT HOME!!!

    LOL!

  • This guy is a little condescending. I can make that cake with my cricut in my kitchen and for 1/4 of the price I bet he charges! LOL I am a little home-based cake shop and I agree with all the people on here...Sounds like he is trying to scare the public into picking him or me! Insert evil laugh here! XO

  • wow....he sounds like an ass....and scared of the competition as well....i just started doing cakes and even i know his "triple swiss dot" cake looked very thrown together and sloppy...maybe if the "professionals" didn't try to swindle brides out of so much money they would get more business....

  • I know he's a good baker, but please I would school him on his cakes!! and I only do cakes for my extended family!! The only thing I can't do is 'spray paint' a cake, everything I do at home!!! by myself... He's good but please if you are passionate about what you do, then it shows in your cakes, store made or home made!!!

  • my house in san diego!!!!!!

  • Ive seen many cakes been made on youtube and not just by professionals but many of the non professional look better than the professional cakes

  • Ah, this is 'man' talk, I needed my husband to listen and translate. This guy is not dissuading folks from ordering from a home baker, he's saying that for someone to pick up the task of trying to make THEIR OWN wedding cake, it can be daunting and overwhelming, especially if you have no experience. He's not being mean, he's trying to show that making your own wedding cake is difficult unless you have the supplies and know-how.

  • He's not talking about people who are at home cake artist I believe he is more pointed to those people who usually only make their son or daughters birthday cakes lol he's just saying a person with experience and that may just be an at home artist...relax now..people really seem to get real deffensive over anything and jump on anyones case.......

  • i agree!! cakes can be done from home and ARE SO MUCH MORE DETAILED.

  • Big mouth!

  • Nice cakes yes, but what does this have to do with making wedding cakes . . . oh, that's right nothing. I've seen lots of professionals crank out "cookie cutter" cakes, went to 4 weddings in 1 year and 3 had the same cake, how original.

  • Wedding Cakes : How to Make Professional Wedding Cakes ????? I didnt hear one bit about making the cake??? you were just showing off that you make better cakes than people who do it home, personally i think id rather have an homemade cake, the person making it at home would put more effort into it...

  • OMG people get over yourselves, he doesn't have a gun pointed to your head saying "buy only my wedding cakes" he is simply giving his personal opinion on being a trained professional in the industry. I swear people have nothing better to do than whinge.

  • Love the cake styles. Agree 100%

  • ...Just wondering what this video has to do with learning to make wedding cakes. That is the title, after all.

  • este si,me pongo de pie.

  • This video is off-topic and has nothing to do with "making" a cake. End of story. Nice try, guy, but no cigar. And no sale. I like to do it myself. [raspberry]

  • its not actually telling you how to make a wedding cake its just showing off

  • This is not a "how to" video. This is an advertisement for professional wedding cakes.

  • Comment removed

  • U should change the name of your video to how to really tick people off . instead of how 2 make pro. cakes so u would not B lying . I tell u after seeing your cakes I feel a Heck of alot better about my cakes at leats my cakes don't have frosting seeping out the sides of the ribbon or have more deail than a white wall. I wanted 2 go 2 culinary school so I could B a pro. I think I will have 2 rethink that bullet in the brain idea!

  • After 105 comments, he should remove the video and try again...also bring better cakes. I agree with comments the first one is pretty ok but the other two do not look "professional".

  • I do cakes at home too. And they are always beautiful, and what's more... delicious! I'm making a four-tiered cake for my brother's wedding this month. Any home baker can learn these "professional" techniques with a little motivation. This video is nothing but a sales pitch.

  • his stripes are uneven

  • I have to agree. My wife and I work out of our home and have had repeat customers who would rather come to us than a "Professional Bakery". Feel free to check us out on facebook. Search Buttercups Cakery. We are pretty new, but let us know what you think.

  • i have seen plenty of at home cakes that look absolutely professional. the fondant work on the last cake was awful. it had creases

  • I went to culinary school I have many friends who are professional pastry chefs and I am a pastry chef but there are so many different avenues you can go through everyone has strengths and weaknesses i have friends that never had the training I have and what took me forever to learn they picked it up in a week but the important thing to remember to always ask to see a book or a sample of the persons work before you hire them to do something for you. Any one can say their a professional.

  • dont name your video HOW TO MAKE and then only say 'you have to hire a professional' it's misleading!

  • YOu can also make large cakes my piecing together pan cakes and round cakes. 2 or 3 cakes stacked will create the same effect. or, a few 12" cakes side by side can create a sheet cake effect!

  • When you look closely at his designs, they are actually rather sloppy.........

  • "How to Make Professional Wedding Cakes" Man you wrong , you should had write buy cake from professional and DON'T lear to make a cake, beside the White cake you can SEE very clear is done wrong you can see the rebbon is not even stray and is like that in every tier!! and the silver cake if you pay attention the small tier is not even set center with the other tiers! and he is proffesional??? I know some cake decorator that work from home and do a better job then this guy!!!

  • i smell advertisement!!

  • There are people who make cakes from home and they do just a great job, if not better, with wedding cakes. To me that's good because in this economy a lot of people can't afford a $500 to $1500 dollor cakes like that anymore.

  • whoa those cakes look so professional they look fake!

  • IM 16 AND I WORK AT HOME AND MY CAKES CAN COME OUT WAY BETTER THAN SOME PROFESSIONALS..BTW YOUR LINES ON THE FIRST CAKE ARE MORE SEPARATED ON SOME SIDES...WE THE HOME DECORATORS TAKE MORE TIME AND DETAIL IN DOING THE CAKE WICH MAKES IT COME OUT NEETER AND BETTER...JUST BECAUSE YOU WORK AT A BAKERY DOESNT MEAN ITS GOING TO BE BETTER...

  • @flakita21394 yes I was noting that his details are not cared for.

  • I would never accept that last square cake he had. The tiers are crooked, the fondant is done terribly, and the icing is seeping out the bottom of the ribbon. Absolutely unacceptable for a wedding, in my opinion.

  • the last cake is off. it's not even

  • This wasn't a video about making a wedding cake...just sayin'.

  • You can make a professional wedding cake at home and even if you are a professional. And you can have a lot of those pans and things at home if that is your business, a home based cake decorating business. But the cakes are beautiful regardless. I love the cakes, and the scroll lace dot cakes are something I get asked for a lot

  • you've got to be kidding me.

  • Indeed there is a difference between a professional wedding cake and a home cake. In his case the home cake would be centered and the scroll work more fluid. He's an arse! And bty, if these were his "examples" of his best work, he should have taken a step back and viewed the cakes again, because they were off center and didn't have that "WOW" factor.

  • Agree with all these comments... what a douche!

  • you dont need a professional to do your cake there r home made cakes there just look as good as the professional

  • This guy says UUUHHHHH a lot, it's annoying and very distracting.

  • Well Mr. Twig Bakery that is quite unprofessional of you to put down home decorators. Obviously you are clueless what your competition is. Search around and you would be surprised how many real cake decorators work from home. Shame on you and what a louzy way to advertise your bakery. Maybe you should stick to your cake towels.

  • Who is this man?I really dont understand his purpose of this video. He is totally clueless of how many cake decorators work from home. What a jerk. His head has been in the oven for too long.

  • Some people forget that they were noobs once too... some of us started on our houses and then had the helping hand of people better than us to be what we are. That doesnt mean we have to make them feel like they are not worthy. You make very beautiful cakes.but remember, home makers have the same dedication or more than you. Its not about making a cake is about making something that makes you proud and satisfies the client.

  • load of crap! i make cakes at home that look more amazing than the ones in the video!

  • STUFF YOU! i like my cakes better!

  • Umm... I make cakes at home and they look just as good if not better than the ones showed here. Why would you post a video like this knocking home bakers? Your square cake could use some work and your red leaf cake was SUPER simple. The cakes that you represented were not very difficult. If you wanted to show how much better a "professional" baker is vs the home baker, than maybe you should have shown some more over the top cakes. BTW a 16" pan is not a huge investement nor is an 18" one!

  • You don't need a storefront to be a professional. There are MANY professional cake artists that work from their homes. Just as there are many that work in a storefront that lack any amount of professionalism. This guy sounds like he's scared of the competition. Order your wedding cake from a professional cake artist that works from home, and your cake will likely get a LOT more time and attention, as well as detail, devoted to it than it would from a bakery that does 30 or 40 weekend.

  • @Busia77 you are so right and I have a home based caked decorating business, and you don't have to be in a bakery to achieve the same results as the cakes he had in the back ground. I would have never said that, its like you are insulting the people who have chosen to do it from home.

  • @Busia77 I don't think he's particularly saying that only those who have a storefront bakery are professionals. I think when he says not to go to someone at home, he's talking about folks like me, who do this as a hobby and lack the training, skill, and experience needed to make a gorgeous wedding cake. At the end of the video, he even says to go to a professional (not a bakery) who has experience with wedding cakes, rather than a first timer.

  • @Busia77 I so totally agree with you. He is fass and out of his place and I am really offended by his words. I watched the part of the video where they brought a close up and I am PROUD to say that my fondant comes out BETTER and SMOOTHER than his. He talks crap and it's bad cause he can discourage a lot of beginners. Shame on them!

  • @Busia77 I agree!

  • @Busia77 I agree, I make wedding cakes at home, as a hobby, and I spend a lot of my free time on them, and they look better than store made cakes, because they don't look "mass produced"!!!

  • I don't get that he is knocking those who are professionals but just work out of their home. Rather, he is knocking those who think they can take the "Sandra Lee" method and make a cake on the cheap for a friend/family members wedding.

It is unfortunate however that he uses the term "home" where it should really be "non-professional." Many who work out of their homes are indeed health inspected, legal, and highly regarded professionals in the the sugar art field.

  • He's such a snob!! Look at the detail on the ribbon for the square one such sloppiness. Fondant work was not smooth on the corners and too much excess icing used on the ribbon. I know many home bakers, including myself, that can do just what he has done even better.

  • nice cakes i can't make cakes wish i could ^^

  • "You know, the difference between a professional wedding cake and a wedding cake made at home is about $600." You could've just said that and been about as truthful. You make yourself and company look foolish by exhibiting your poorly piped square cake, and extremely simple "red leaves with brown stripe" cake. You see, the thing about home cake-makers is that we take pride in our work and focus on one customer at a time. Can you say the same?

  • @LissiKinz wonder if your sister in law would make mine!! lol

  • What a snob. He's just trying to make his bakery sound impressive, I've seen nicer cakes come from someone that made it homemade, he did a crappy job on the silver ribbon cake. He didn't even pat down his dots before he painted them and they weren't even painted all the way around!

  • what a crock....

  • Comment removed

  • @ShadowPeople1 now there's an idea for a budding bride, one could offer $ 150 dollars of a high school competition prize and the winning cake is your wedding cake cause for wedding cakes it really doesn't matter what they actually taste like does it ? i mean i've never seen anyone actually eat them you send a piece home with the guests and they throw it in the bin when they get there !!

  • hey I know this saying..Wait a minute I said this...Must be really true if someone else is quoting it..lol

  • I like San Diego...

  • I honestly don't understand how so many people can pay so much for a cake that's going to be devoured after about 20 mins. Id rather buy all the ingredients and tools to make my own, and from what hes shown, it doesn't look that hard to make it "professional quality".

  • Sucked u suck

  • This guy is unreal! What a snoty attitude.. Hey , I think homemade cakes are done with much more love. My wedding cake was done by my sister inlaw and it was way more inpressive than anything he has shown here.. Where is the proffessional advise ? I mean come on.. If you want to brag, brag to someone who cares. Right? My advise to him is to leave youtube for those who really want to share therir "homemade" experiences and share wih other .What a waist of 2:16 lol

  • So where does he show "How to make a professional wedding cake?"

  • this guy is totally full of it!!!! the cakes he shows off are totally bland...most armatures on e-bay are better than all his professionalism!!!!

  • Wow, after all his huff and puff I thought we would see something fantastic? Hopefully these are just his basic cakes. Then again his speech sounds like he's said it a lot. Maybe that's his comeback when the clients say they are not impressed. Blah, blah, blah professional and that's what I am blah, blah, blah.

  • I totally agree with all comments. He makes it sound like us home decorators are lacking. I believe you ARE a professional decorators when someone pays you for your services. I've seen "professionally" done cakes that are beautiful and UGGH. Because we work out of our homes we are no less a professiona than he is!

  • I do professional wedding and special occasion cakes from home. I have never needed an 18" pan and if I ever need an 18" cake, I will make it out of 9" ones and put them together! Hasn't this guy ever watched Cake Boss or The Ultimate Cake-Off? Gheeeeeeeeeeesh

  • how many times does he say professional???

  • i dont like the indian one it looks as if it was rushed to me

  • I had a home-made cake at my wedding and it turned out absolutely gorgeous. exactly what i had wanted. with no detail spared. I'm glad that i did it that way. :]

  • ok alot of homemade cakes i've seen on yt looked better then this,i was like omg she made this now i want to try to make a lovily cake myself looks fairly easy to do and either way i get to eat cake...hehehe

  • Extremely disapointing, this video gives the impression that professionals e(as he represents them) are feeling threatened of losing business

  • The title of this video should be "Differences between professional and homemade wedding cakes," Not, "HOW TO make a professional wedding cake." I came here expecting to learn HOW TO do just that.

  • A lot of pissed of stay-at-home mommies here I see =)

  • Yeah... little does he know that I went to a professional and they jacked my wedding cake up. I gave the guy a PICTURE that showed exactly how I wanted my cake to look, and he couldn't do it. Instead of telling me he couldn't do it, the moment I saw my "cake", I burst into tears and told my mother to bring me a shot of the first hard alcohol she saw. Now I wish I'd had a homemade cake.

  • really?? that sucks a lot, i'm sorry. A wedding cake is the most important cakes out there because that will always be remembered and a professional shouldn't screw that up.

I'm only 18 and I'm going to school for baking but meanwhile i have a home-based cake business and I agree that just because a baker from a bakery calls himself "professional" does not mean that home cake makers are unprofessional. I think a homemade cake is better, more passion into it =]

  • Th cakes are beautiful but this guy is a rude moron. Why does he need to put so much energy into putting others down rather than simply promoting what he does best. Is he really that insecure?

  • get amazing recipes at Tinyurl(dot)com/nry2cu

  • I would pay more to have him to do my cake then a person that is doing it at home. He took the time and went to school to learn how to do it right and that is what he does for a living NOT a hobby

  • How the hell would you eat that huge cake.. ?LOL

  • with ease :P

  • by cutting it and serving on a plate???

  • This guy really has an attitude. I do all kinds of wedding cakes from my home with "intricate" scroll work and gumpaste flowers. None of these cakes he shows are out of range for anyone who can execute a properly done wedding cake. He has basically spent his whole video time cutting down home bakers to keep his business going! Arrogant!

  • I agree with you whole-heartedly! I do cakes at home also. Wedding cakes to all degrees. I've never had a cake I couldn't do.Also, his are rather "plain Jane" compared to the ones I do!

  • @shelldavelandreth you get 5*****, for this comment. I loved his cakes, simple yet elegant and I too have been asked to do difficult ones and whether i know how to do them or not, I give it a shot and try, if its something out of the norm

  • He may want to go back and have some more proffesional lessons on how to centre the top tier of his square cake. While his piping may look good, what is with all the floors in the fondant covering? Is that why he needed to be good at piping? How embarassing! Give me a home baker any day!

  • He was rude.

I think he's trying to get more business. lol.

I've seen PLENTY of home made wedding cakes look just as good as store bought ones.

They should change the name of this, I'm trying to find decent "cake decorating" tutorials for a friend who is VERY budgeted but wants a beautiful cake.

Maybe not everyone can afford a few hundred dollar cake. Ugh

  • Wait a second, what part of this video showed him 'making' a cake??!! babyfrog said it best...he's a jerk!!! Apparently, only 'professional's' can make beautiful cakes/wedding cakes...we home-based bakers can't do the intricate scrollwork either...if only he knew!! ANY of my cakes would show him what us home-based bakers/decorators CAN do!! Jerk!!

  • ummm. OK!

I plan on making my own wedding cake, and this video was absolutely USELESS!

  • this guys just a tad full of himself! jerk!!

  • U R correct. The word MAKE should be removed. I teach Cake deco. He is correct saying most "home makers" would not have all the equip.. BUT you can buy them at your local craft store and take Wilton Cake Deco. courses, then u would be able to deco some of these cake. Most cities have a Health laws U can't make cakes out of your home to sell. He should have said this so all wouldn't get so mad . He does have a point in what he is saying.

  • There is a local store here that also rents pans in different sizes as well. So there is no need for the customer to invest in a pan that they will only use once in their lifetime.

  • Renting is a great idea. But if you are going to be making a lot of cakes, buy the best pans you can afford as they will last a life time. Once you take classes you will be able to make beautiful cakes and the more you practice the better you become. The main point is the health laws of not making cakes out of a home as there is no health inspection out of a home, so beware.

  • My step mom used to work in bakeries in different grocery stores. When she retired, the only time she made cakes (and still does) is for birthdays of family and the like. On occasion, she's made a couple of wedding cakes. But during those times, she goes to one of her old bosses and borrows pans she needs. Otherwise, she has no use for 14" heart shaped pans.

  • Your right, not much use for heart pans, expecially when, next to an oval, you don't get as many servings out of the shape. It would be reat if her old bosses would let her make & deco. at the bakeries too. This way she would meet the county health codes and no worries about being sued or getting in trouble with the health dept.

  • Pat (step mom) doesn't do anything commercial. Last time she made a cake was for my birthday last year. The one before that was her son's wedding. Otherwise, she won't do anything on a commercial level.

  • Good to hear Pat is playing it safe. We use to have a cake shop that would rent pans for $1.00. They stopped that about 7 years ago as the pans came back so scratched up they were no longer useful. Pat is lucky she has an exboss to rent out the pans.

  • Wow. I wanted to learn something new about cake decorating. Instead, I listened to this baker degrade homebakers and amateur cake decorators 0:10 1:46. I feel insulted and unfairly judged. Am I the only one who picked up on that?

  • I think Starbucks should serve wedding cake as one of their pastries.

  • dude this makes me feel bad i wanted to learn how to make cakes not buy one man not cool though i must say that the cakes do look cool =]

  • How is this video giving any advise on how to MAKE a professional wedding cake? I know how to buy a professional wedding cake already.

  • So the answer to how to make a professional wedding cake is to buy one?

  • That's the answer I got out of that video.

  • LOL sooooo true uhh...... what dum butt he is.... that's cause he's worryed is clients are going with some one that makes home made cakes..... jjajajajaja

  • lol

  • he keeps saying "uhh.." it`s so funny if you get 1 dollar for each time he says "uhh", I would be rch!

  • lol thats funny and true!!

  • Oh how pretty. You're really good. I wish I could hear what you're saying
