I liked this book a bit better than Da Vinci. I wasn't sure about Tom in the role either, but hope he makes me more of a believer in this one, lol. Oh and I heard that the movie will not be recognizing this as a prequel like it was in book form, but a sequel to Da Vinci. I guess they must talk about it as if it's already happened or something. Don't know how I feel about that! Also I can't believe we are STILL waiting for Dan Brown to finish his next book! That's almost as bad as Thomas Harris!

They really could have gotten a different actor other than Tom Hanks to play the role of Langdon. Not that I have anything against Tom Hanks, I just think he's the wrong person for this role. Hugh Jackman or Russell Crowe would have been better choices.

In the DVD extras, the producer (or was it the director?) explained that one would enjoy to watch Tom Hanks' face as he thinks. Hugh Jackman? Wonderful actor but how would that have been a better casting choice? I think Tom Hanks is perfect.
