Having grown up at the time of Clause 28 and suchlike, it's great that we now have so many out lesbian, gay, and - albeit just the one! - bisexual MPs in a position to talk about LGBT issues at Stephen does here from personal experience. I suspect that "I" is a much more powerful word in debates on equality issues than "they".
