Pauline, your vocals are worthy of Sarah Brigtman, however if I was their sound engineer cut this subject, 8 minutes is a lot. Moreover begin the mixture from the solo piano, and not your voice a capella. To finish (yeah!) with your voice off the record ... a capella. Did you know that Mike Jager said, "If every 2 minutes does not change anything on stage ... the audience gets bored. "

It's all there is to the music industry these days. A software program (that a 6 year old could compose a finished product on) a fashionable singer, to which even that they add enhancement to. And in the end it's the same songs and same artifical tunes passed off as music. Not that im very surprised really, considering the thorough and complete conditioning of people over the past 30 years with hacks like Michael jackson and Madonna in the forefront.

Try to focus more on staying in tune in the song, than using your vibrato. In my opinion, the song's a bit untidy, you can't really tell what's verse and what's chorus. Because of that, it gets boring, and you don't want to listen to the full song. It doesn't fit with the music. Work on your tune and vibrato, and these kind of songs will be easier for you to sing, plus it will be tidy. Which this at the moment, isn't.
