Dragonball GT was full of shit. It's basically like: Enemy appears, Goku/Vegeta etc get beaten up, they figure out some sort of new way to get more power and win the fight in a few punches. Cycle repeats from here...

Dragonball Z was more fun to watch.

@SSJ2gohanx99 Maybe because Goku is the main character. Gohan is not suited to be the main character. What do people not get that Gohan isn't into fighting like Piccolo or Goku? He's a pacifist at heart. He became a scholar because he wanted to be a scholar. Characters have lives outside fighting. Even Akira Toriyama confirms this. That's why Goku became the hero again in the Majin Boo arc.

@anti4kids2000 Well the series was originally supposed to end after the battle with cell so gohan was meant to be the main character by the end of the series. It's just that too many people wanted toriyama to continue the series and reestablish goku as the main character so he gave in and did it. I for one would have liked to see gohan be the main character, just because he hates fighting doesnt mean he wont to protect others.

@tofuyamas That is not true. Akira Toriyama made Goku the hero again because he felt that Gohan was unsuited. It had nothing to do with the fans.

There's the thing about Gohan, he fights to protect. He isn't like Goku where he just loves martial arts. That's why he spared Vegeta, so he could fight him again one day.

It is still a quality that a main character can possess. And the first half of the buu saga basically portrays gohan as the main character but than goku unfittingly and quite randomly returns as the main character. It just doesnt feel right when it happens

@tofuyamas Gohan is a pacifist. He cares more about studying (don't let the English dub fool you, Gohan does care about getting smarter). Trunks and Goten were made to appear as main characters as well, who seemed to be the ones to defeat Majin Boo through the means of fusion. The moral of the Majin Boo arc is that Goku can't be throwing the hero card at the younger generations to Gohan, and Trunks & Goten.

@anti4kids2000 yes and no, it had a little bit to do with the fans and him, I've met Toriyama and one of the reasons he went back to Goku being the hero was the fans AND because he wanted to go back to the original DB a little bit where Son Goku truly was the main hero.

I watched the terrible English Dub, Blue Water Dub Version, but the OST made it watchable.

The Sound Track for the Funi Version is. Well I'd rather die then listen to it, it makes DBGT out to be worst then it is.

But since I watched the Blue Water Dub/Ocean version with the Original Japanese soundtrack, I watched the entire series from start to finish without once complaining
