Bought a pre-owned from EB today and was very dissapointed...
The game play is similar to Battle Front but thats as far as it goes (I am a very big fan of BF and can't wait for the new one to come out). It is a VERY SHIT game and was totally not worth the 46 bucks I paid for it.

The game sucks when it comes to a variety of choices. Battlefront 2 from Pandemic and LOTRBFME2 from EA are so much more in-depth, each having numerous amounts of maps and heroes and character types. This game has 4 character types, like 15 maps, which are all tiny... a huge disappointment. Would have expected more out of a team consisting of EA and Pandemic. Graphics weren't great either.

I agree getting knocked down every second does piss me off and then not getting up for ages even though i button mash is annoying, but this game is still fun especially owning hobbits with sauron and the balrog on the last evil campaign level. No where near as good as star wars battlefront though

It is an awsome i think you should get it. However it is very addicive. And pandemic who do lots of other great games and because they do the battlefront games alot of the main ideas are derived from that and the graphics are amazing GET IT

Its far from like the other games.
This is much better, u can do all the things u cant in the other games. Return of the kings, u can ONLY be GOOD HEROES(Sucks)
Battle for Middle Earth, u can only have a decent amount of men on the battlefield(Sucks even worse, since the cover says u can have MUCH more men, and make "Epic" battles. LIE!)

I love the game, i have completed the good campaign, althought that the levels are to short i think, i completed the good campaigh in 2 days, by playing like 2/3 hours each,
anyways, i love it =)

Alteans, I personnaly HATE fallout3 and Oblivion, I think its the 2 worst game ever, including control and graphic and gameplay, so just be aware that your tastes aint everyone's.

well.. one of the shittiest game I've ever spent money on it..after about half an hour playtime and impossible control the character whatsoever I had to threw it in the garbage bin where it belongs.
These guys need to learn from Bethesda how to make a good game like Oblivion or Fallout 3.
The battlefield type game play is NOT for this kinds of games period.

A lot of resources went into this game but they had monkeys at the game controls to fight and navigate.
As for the would be flamers, I don't hate the game , just disappointed with the control and the layout of it.

I bought this game yesterday and im returning it. I still cant believe its 2009 and they are releasing this kind of shit. The combat system us archaic and uselss and its just fucking boring. Most of the characters are gimped and it is a sad excuse for a SW: Battlefront rip-off. Goood epic battles, overall shitty game.
