The Parking Authority is full of shit. They tell you that you must have a license registration and proof of insurance before they can release your car to you. If I'm not driving the car off their lot and I come with a tow truck to get it why would I need any of those things? All I should have to prove is that I own the car with a title and pay my fines. Its all about getting the most money out of you that they can.

I paid by credit card, reviewed my statement a month later. It was for double the amount. Still have it on my statement a year later. Just can't get it off the statement. I think this happens a lot. They double charge someone to cover their asses. Cars are released all of the time, without people paying anything.
