  • Haha that was really cool! Simple, but it worked!

  • @sp8darocka -- Thanks! I'm glad you could see it! :)

  • I can see the whole thing, including "the end" at the end... but it really isn't that clear.... you can't tell what he's doing at all... just grabbing something.... very hard to make out.

  • @Nitro187 -- Hmm... sorry to hear you can't see this one clearly. Have you tried viewing some of my other stereogram videos? They were made with a better resolution. You got most of this one though... a snowball keeps knocking his hat off, and he keeps bending over to pick it up.

  • why not make films like this?? this shit is incredible.. i wish someone made something longer with a plot in it...

  • @MyLovelyHomicide -- Maybe some day! I'd like to see a movie version too... but don't have the time to make one... lol. Thanks for watching!

  • I saw a skull that was looking at me and then I felt pulled towards its eyes..... Wtf brain

  • thats weird pic

  • @XtreamZombie11 -- Were you able to see the 3D stereogram?

  • white noise :)

  • @mijucu -- That's what it looks like! Were you able to see the snowman, though?

  • Love it! Love the music with it too.

  • Awesome. LOVE it.

  • @CuffRox -- Thanks for the comment! :)

  • May I ask if you used software to do this, and if so, what program?

Very neat video, I've always liked stereograms.

  • @Aerostryker2 -- Sure... I used the freeware program Art of Illusion to make an animated greyscale depth map, then used 3DMiracle to turn it into an animated stereogram. Other modeling programs - like 3D Studio, Blender - should work for generating the depth map. As far as I'm aware, 3DMiracle is the only software that can use an animated depth map as input. Thanks for watching! :)

  • I thought it was a penguin :) XD

  • @seesar0008 -- Yeah, I can see why. Thanks for the comment! :)

  • its awesome! i thought it was a penguin too.

  • @Sieved420 -- Ha ha, yeah. Thanks for watching! :)

  • LOVE IT!! :)

  • @92rachh -- Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • So funny when he runs away from the snow plow xDDD

  • @CanadianDH -- Thanks for commenting, I'm glad you could see it! :)

  • First time for me in animated stereograms. Thank you, very cool :-)

  • @Ely76 -- Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • I thought it was a penguin! looks like it. But still nice!

  • @onizukakimura -- Thanks for watching! I see what you mean... the carrot nose does look like a penguin beak. Thanks for the comment!

  • That is cool the snowman takes his hat off and puts it back on

  • @OCHOGIE -- You saw it! His hat is actually being knocked off by a snowball. Thanks for the comment!

  • do i need 3d glasses for this or can i actually not see it because i have no stereopsis?

  • @orkneyskillz -- Sorry, but you won't be able to see it without stereopsis. The only way to view this is by focusing past the pattern. :(

  • I SEE IT WOOHOO

  • why i cant see it nor Stereograms?

  • @faridjabba -- It's difficult to see stereograms for the first time. Have you tried the tips in the description? Also, you might want to start with still image stereograms, because moving stereograms are more difficult. Good luck!

  • wow if you put it on full screen you dont see nothing! amazing xD

  • @kamtim -- Ha ha, yeah... it's possible, but very difficult (for me at least) to see it full screen. That's why I have the warning in the description. ;)

  • :)

  • GREAT!

  • @iHaxerz -- Thanks for the comments! :D

  • what was the picture? as i have no stereopsis

  • @orkneyskillz -- Sorry to hear that. :( It's a snowman getting his hat knocked off by snowballs, then he gets chased away by a snow plow.

  • A snowman, and was that a truck that leads the snowman to run away

  • @Xanadu97348 -- Thanks for watching! Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it was a truck -- a snowplow that chased the snowman away.

  • My mom came in and saw me watching this

  • @zhao255 : And . . .

  • @zhao255 -- So she walked in on you and saw you intensely staring at a bunch of static? :D

  • How did you make this?

  • @elewint -- I made a 3D animation with the freeware open-source program Art of Illusion (although any 3D software that can make black and white depth maps can be used - like Blender or 3DS Max). Then I used the program 3DMiracle to turn the animated depth map into an animated stereogram.

  • NIIICE I like it

  • @gogetenks123 -- Thank you, I'm glad you could see it! :)

  • NIIICE I like it

  • Who needs 3D?? :D

    Nice animation! :)

  • @Petunientopf42 -- Thank you! :D

  • Cool.

  • @elewint -- Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • what is he doing?

  • @StarButterFly1 -- He keeps getting his hat knocked off by a snowball, then he throws a snowball back, and gets chased away by a snow plow.

  • at the end ther´s a train passing through...sth like a train or a van you can see big weels

  • @isra140 -- It's a snow plow at the ending. It goes by quickly, so it does look like a train. Thank you for watching!

  • It would suck having one eye!

  • @McNihilation -- Indeed! Thanks for watching! :)

  • I saw something but I couldn't exactly tell what was happening.. :/

  • @lilqtkels123 -- It's a snowman getting his hat knocked off by snowballs. At the end, he is chased off screen by a snow plow.

  • Nice video.

  • @cair0357 -- Thank you! :)

  • amazing!!!!!!

  • @kevoyouno -- Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

  • it's funny how people who don't understand how to see stereograms, would think we're crazy when looking at it.

  • @jerkycam -- Yeah, it's like a secret club. Thanks for watching -- I'm glad you could see it!

  • Genial!!me encantó!! muy buen trabajo!

  • My father don't undestand why I watch a snowy video!!! :P

  • @maroummm -- Ha ha! Thanks for the comment!

  • amazing video never seen a stereogram in motion before thanks!

  • @GamesofHunger -- Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it!

  • I cannot see it after 15 mins. I never was any good at this stuff. i suck lol

  • @blank2071 -- Sorry to hear that. Are you able to see still image stereograms? It's easier to get focused on those. Also, there are some tips in the video description that might help.

  • Che carino! :-)

  • i cant see it

  • @MrDiamondpick -- Bummer... have you tried the tips in the video description? My Dad has a hard time getting focused at first, and he likes the "start up close and slowly back away" method.

  • that was the 1st time i saw stereogram in animation well done :)

  • Thumbs up for voluntary diplopia.

  • hahahah holy fck i thopught it was fake but damn..

  • I saw it!

  • lol poor snowmans had kees fallin off then he gotta run from a truck... poor guy... awsome animation tho.

  • snowman thingy?

  • @ickthxbai -- Yes, it's a snowman that keeps getting his hat knocked off by a snowball, so he picks it up.

  • the new cartoons era!

  • @inlineyitan -- Ha ha! Thanks for watching! :)

  • Haha i go slightly cross eyed to see it :)

  • woahu Dude, trippy stuff! :D

  • @thkro20 -- Thanks for the comment - I'm glad you could see it!

  • Haha I love it

  • @MissParshall -- Thank you! :D

  • IT'S HARD TO FOLLOW BUT ITS PSICHOOOOOOOO!!!!! gREATTTTT

  • @willl0014 -- Thanks for the comment! :)

  • what keeps knocking off his hat? i guess it would be the wind but it looked like a projectile of some kind (snowball?)

  • @MrHaxorer upon closer inspection, it's a snowball

  • @MrHaxorer -- Sorry for the late reply... but yes, you got it! Thanks for watching! :D

  • Use a reflective screen and sit a few feet away and stare at your reflection and start the video.

  • THAT WAS SICK. i love this shit

  • @TakeOverControlx3 -- Thanks for watching, I'm glad you liked it! :D

  • Go a little crosseye close to the screen. Move your head back. Presto! Easy instructions.

  • I can't! Any help?

  • @Star12312312345 -- Sorry you're having trouble. Did you try some of the viewing tips I listed in the description? Are you able to see still image stereograms? If not, it's easiest to start with those before trying to see animated stereograms. Good luck!

  • This is Awesome! :D

  • @HDFuse -- Thanks! :)

  • OH FUCK!! that was amazing!!!! great work bro!

  • @naved001video -- Thanks man! I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • wow

  • this. is. fucking. amazing!!!!!!!

was it your own creation? how did you do it?

  • @TubeYourTubeOn -- Thank you! Yes, I made it... I used Art of Illusion to make the 3D animation (although any 3D software that can make black and white depth maps can be used - like Blender or 3DS Max) and the program 3DMiracle to turn the animated depth map into an animated stereogram.

  • @Derpinguin44 Best. Username. EVAR!!!

  • I cannot and never have been able to see these things because I have a very long sighted eye and even wearing glasses does not correct the vision.... I feel bloody cheated.

  • @007mrdarcy -- Sorry to hear that. :(

  • @007mrdarcy You're missin out bro!

  • Sad thing is, sir, I used to be able to see these. Now I can't. I used to LOVE looking at these. IN fact, I used to love being the only one in my grade that was able to see them. Here I am 17 years later unable to see them and frustrated. :-/ I want it back, lol.

  • @Derpinguin44 -- Oh, bummer. Did something happen? Do you think you might be able to re-train your eyes?

  • @ThePhantomChick I see small blips here and there, is the snowman wearing a tophat?

  • @Derpinguin44 -- Yes!

  • THE

    END

  • @Prichiner -- At least you saw that part! ;) I hope you were able to see the rest as well...

  • i see a penguin, then i'll see a snowman

  • @JaffaCakesMan -- Ha ha, cool. I've had some viewers say it looks like a penguin (and I see why, since the carrot nose looks beak-ish) but I haven't heard anyone say it looks like a penguin *and* a snowman. Thanks for watching!

  • that was great!!!;)

  • @Blackberrypipe -- Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • I love stereograms. My brother thinks I'm crazy because he can't see anything in them. My mom used to be the same way before I taught her. I learned how to in the fourth grade by myself. My first stereogram was a Space Jam book full of them.

In this video, the snowman looks like a penguin to me :D <(") Great job, I've never seen a stereogram video before.

  • @RainbowSigh -- Yeah, I loved the Magic Eye calendar I got for Christmas a long time ago. :D Thanks for watching, I'm glad you could see it!

  • @RainbowSigh join the club

  • @RainbowSigh I'm in grade 4!

  • @magolivia1 Good for you...? I'm about to be in 11th.

  • I can't see anything! These pieces of shit frustrated me ever since i was a child!

    I AM FUCKING ANGRY NOW!

  • @glitch509 -- Bummer... have you tried with still images? They are easier to see than stereogram videos. Also, there are some tips in the description... maybe they can help you?

  • @glitch509 I've never been able to see anything either! Not for a lack of trying...

  • that was awesome

  • @AwesomeSauce2539 -- You got it! Thanks for the comment - I'm glad you could see it!

  • Ha ha ha poor snowman =) Cool video.

  • @xpara10 -- Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :)

  • There is nothing here but black, gray & white moving dots...

at least for me there is nothing more...

and yes I do have two eyes ;-)

  • @kncrs Research "how to view stereograms" and practice... come back after you have mastered that skill and you will have a good laugh :) btw it's not that hard.. it took me 5 minutes to "get it"... good luck!

  • @THUMBxUPxWHORE

It turn out that I will never see any of stereograms. I've got an amblyopia (lazy eye) and in this condition a stereograms are just impossible to see (ever).

  • Did the truck run over the snowman? as he ran off the screen before the truck came! If somebody made a 1 hour long video in Spectrogram! i would really love to see it.

  • @FantasyMindedMan -- The video doesn't show, but yes, the snowman made it. :) Thanks for watching! Hmmm... a 1-hour long stereogram would be fun to watch, but it might be hard to focus for a while after. lol

  • @ThePhantomChick It would be very interesting to see how my eyes adjust after a longer video. The fuzzy white noise is perfect on this stereo-gram as long as there is not too flicker.

Maybe you could make a stereo-gram adventure with multiple choices and put link windows over the points to make it interactive.

  • @FantasyMindedMan -- Ooh, a stereogram choose-your-own-adventure would be interesting! I'll have to think about that one. Speaking of interactive stereograms, google Stereogram Python or Stereogram Tetris for a fun treat! (Both games are programmed by 3Dimka.)

  • looooooooool

  • @63Jax -- Thanks for the comment! :D

  • looks rather like a penguin :)

  • @natureofinviting -- Yeah, it kind of does. Thanks for watching! :)

  • looks more like a penguin than a snow'man'. you can see its beak in its profile when it turn sideway to pick up its hat.

  • @GeekyGuitaristNerd -- Ha ha, yeah... that's his carrot nose. It's a little on the fat, stubby side as carrots go. Thanks for watching!

  • this is great man... did you the the woman there, teasing the snowman? damn so sexy!

  • @eliwansebentri - lol, what?! It should just be a lonely snowman. (Sounds like what you see could make a good sequel...)

  • DUDE THATS AWESOME I WAS ABLE TO SEE EVERYTHING EVEN '' THE END'' AND 2 BOOBS 'I THINK'

  • @jijbentgoed - Ha ha, those were the 2 large eyes of the PhantomChick logo (like the black & white one as my profile image). ;)

  • thats awesome!

  • @deathbyillusion - Thanks! Cool channel by the way. Not as fun as actually *riding* a roller coaster, but very fun to watch one or two during downtime at work. lol

  • @ThePhantomChick yea that would be cool if they came out wth some 4D camera so it feels like your riding the ride lol. BTW do you use some program to make this? If so what is it?

  • @deathbyillusion -- Ha ha, yeah... 4D. When my sisters were young, one would sit in a swivel office chair and the other would provide the simulator-type rocking movements as they watched the rides they built with RollerCoaster Tycoon.

I used Art of Illusion to make the 3D animated depth map, then 3DMiracle to turn it into an animated stereogram.

  • gooooood job!

  • @8davix8 -- Thanks for watching!

  • I cant see the end... but i can faintly see a snowman moving (cant see the dancing part yet) i need more practice for Stereograms...

  • @shawnaw2 -- I'm glad you can see part of it! And the snowman isn't dancing (as some viewers believe) - he keeps bending down to pick up his hat, which gets knocked off by snowballs. Have fun practicing! (If you want to practice with still images, I like the gallery at hidden-3d(dot)com)

  • @ThePhantomChick

OMG hes actually bending to pick his hat? I saw that part clearly... I was thinking... that doesn't seem like a dancing move at all... So I WAS right the first time haha. Thanks!

  • haha funny^^

  • @xNatsukiKyarax -- Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!

  • trippy

  • awww the wind keeps blowing the hat away!

  • @imdatlyndachick -- Ha ha, close! Snowballs keep knocking his hat off. Thanks for the comment. :)

  • i saw something....... but very very blurry.. but i saw the "the end" damn clearly! hahaha damn, i need more practice. halp!

  • @sekijangkitties -- Ha ha, at least you saw part of it! :D It should get easier with practice. (If you want to practice with still image stereograms, I like the gallery at hidden-3d(dot)com)

  • That's so cool!
