I'm a old school SC fan and naturally I was upset that the game turned out to be this way. But I gave the SC Conviction a chance and I liked it, the flashy hand to hand takedowns are awesome.

I actually wish that they would do a better version of this game. The CooP was(is still) alot of fun with friends.

There's no coop moves, you have to kill each other at the end, spies vs mercs is gone, and they completely threw stealth out the window. They breach doors. Splinter Cells are denied of any existence if they're seen. SO WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY BREACHING DOORS?!!! Just don't buy the game. Double Agent's bad and this game is worse.

@jounitsio Look I've played Splinter Cell for a LONG time, I've played, beaten, all of them on the hardest difficulty. I've beaten the 4th best guy in the world on Double Agent. I know what a good Splinter Cell game is and this is defeinately not a good one. Buy it if you feel like it, I'm just saying you shouldn't buy it. They comepletely threw stealth out the window. The game isn't even hard which already makes it a bad game.

@Youruncle67 xcept, 1 of the reasons the game was so good because it was hard. It made you think when you were playing. YOu had to time things correctly. Now timing has nothing to do with Conviction.Whether you kill the guy now or 25 minutes, won't make a differece, In the old SCgames, if you screwed up your perfect momemt, it could cost you the mission. And as Lambert always says, Dammit Fisher You werent supposed to be spotted, im scrapping the mission.

The Co-op is too linear. Chao theory had good level design (multiple paths,vents, etc) which made it better. I think these designers fail too see that. This game has a nice coop ending. Halo 3 should of ended like that.

If you are all wondering why this great game isn't for ps3 it's because ps3 doesn't deserve it. Think about it, ps3 owners are always complaining about how they THINK ps3 is better than Xbox360, than they turn around and complain more about not having the same games as Xbox360. Xbox360 has better gameplay and graphics and better online gameplay.. Sam Fisher belongs to XBOX, and sadly snake from mgs is stuck with the ps3 platform.

@pilot91 Your talking about Co-op story mode right? Well you cant use customized characters in story mode only in different game modes and yes theres verus mode but a bunch of computers are in the way so take them out untill you see your enemy,

also there are computer splinter cells in the story mode that you have to face

@swordsman0624 Its called the Center Axis Relock combat stance. Its one of the most practical combat stances out there. it allows you to hold the handgun closer to the body absorbing recoil and allowing you to acquire targets faster. its actually my favorite now. research it. in addition to looking badass, its easier than standard bladed, isosceles stance or squared. hoped this helps

@satchfreak Just played this game, Sam Fisher is bad ass, Storyline is amazing, No more tedious stealthiness if you want to get up close and personal you have a wide arrange of Executions or you can mark them. And Co-Op Is amazing you play as two Operatives and it's a side story from the Main Campaign, and the Interrogation is just phenomenal.

There going to be no replay value in the game how often did you play co-op on chaos theory? co-op WAS GOOD, but weres the replay value? The single player IS GOOD just not what it used to be. and in my opinion its not what it used to be. Have fun with Single Player + Co-op. One of the best video game series ruined.

@Cylasis Its not challenging anymore I played realism on the demo multiple times and all of those times i tried new stuff whether it was nothing but stealth, run and gun, stealthfully gunning, a mixture of all. whatever its not challenging at all. As far as equipment go I like the whole upgrades and what not but theres way too many guns and some of the clothing dont even make you look like a splinter cell agent. + the SC-20K is the best gun multipurpose very useful.

Infiltration, Hunter, and Last Stand can be played alone or with another person. Face Off requires a second player.

Co-op most likely requires a second player also.

Yeah Spies vs. Mercs has been replaced with Spy vs. Spy, which IMO is much better because both have the same skills and the AI will be involved trying to kill both of you while you try to kill each other so u have to take NPC's out while trying to kill each other
