  • I agree with this video in most points. I am a Christian, and i feel upset that most of the Christians in the world are actually hateful against their brothers. They spend energy damning other Christians and fabricate conspiracy theories about how Freemasons and Catholics and so on want to control the world...in reality, it is fundamentalist evangelical Christians that will bring about a revolution, and a holocaust against their enemies even, whom they say are evil, "Satanic" and damned.

  • lol,me and my silly outbursts. But Hitler was also a mad psychopath who wanted to wipe out an entire race.

  • Your gay if you think hitler and evangelisits ideas are anything alike!Evangelists are trying to spread Gods word, and besides,Hitler was ACtholic.Haha Catholic!!

  • Fa shizzem Fo Shizzle. Extremism of any kind is scary and amoral.

  • Love the "this means war" bit at the end of the clip. These people should get together with Boyd Rice and cut an album!

  • To top it all off, Hitler was a Christian.

Look up "Positive Christianity" on wikipedia.

  • You've overplayed your hand, and committed the same fallacies that I come on youtube to correct in theists. I disagree with your goal, but if we are going to win over theists it does require more water-tight argument construction.

I also suspect that not many evangelical parents let their children surf youtube without supervision.

I hope you re-think the video and its claims, and re-post it though.

  • can you expand on which bits you think are hypocritical and need revising?

  • Hi James.

I didn't use the word "hypocritical".

Sometimes war is a preferable option, if slavery, oppression, theocracy, etc is the other option.

I'm not American (your target audience), but I am proud to display my nation's flag, even if I disagree with somethings my govt and some fellow citizens do.

I agree that religion is a huge problem, maybe the biggest. But evangelism isn't synonymous with fascism. Rather than claiming this, discussing the common elements would better make your point.

  • Im, A, Evangelacal! And proud of it to!

  • I am with you. The extreme elements of the country have declared an outright "culture war" on reason and justice.

Let us be the voice of reason and justice.

  • a lame vid. i suppose this nutsack thinks war AGAINST the nazis was immoral?

aside from ending slavery, nazism, communism and tyranny, war is immoral!

theres a global jihad going on today in many countries. it seems there is little opposition to it, but plenty of opposition to the free worlds response to it.

thanks for being al qeada spokespersons.

  • you're a moron. who invaded poland? defending your country isn't immoral, attacking other countries is. read between the lines, the nazis used the same techniques to sway their followers as the fundamentalists do now. Terrorism is a threat invented by your government to go to war, steal oil, and line the pockets of arms manufacturers. Moron.

  • well i see no reason to give details of over 10,000 known terror attacks since 9-11. not to mention the innumerable terrorist attacks before 9-11 against the world since sayyyy, the 1970 munich games. i feel like a teen whos spent his childhood playing video games just replied to me.

son, get off your computer read a book. and i dont mean harry potter.

by the way, iraq sold $26 billion in oil last year, mostly to china.

  • I suppose muslim extremists are the enemy then? Well just be glad you don't live where I do - the UK is full of muslims. I literally shit myself every time I ride the tube and I see a man with a beard. You never know who is going to decide to blow themselves up. The threat is very real.

  • yeah muslim extremists are a nightmare. as a christian i can say christian fundamentalists are just stupid, but hardly a threat to anyone. and not stupid just for believing in jesus. many avdnaced civilizations were superstitious. romans and greeks had gods and believed in reincarnation. budhists too.

and the irreligious dont hold any moral high ground either. look at drugs and crime on city streets every day thruot history. stalin lenin and mao were atheists.

  • Just because someone is young does not mean they are naive and incapable of understanding the "real" way the world works. It is always the youthful and unafraid of change that are at the forefront of change. Jesus and his fellow zealots disagreed with the Jewish society of their time and wanted to change it.

  • Tyrants ALWAYS promise freedom and prosperity, in the same way a venus fly trap promises a honeybee abundance.

  • I think a person has to be very careful about all this..the direction that some will attempt to take you, both down the road of religion, AND the road of atheism. There is nothing wrong with parents teaching their children about God, and once this becomes a crime, then the world is lost.

  • Teaching God shouldn't be a crime, but teaching your kids a different reality from the one we've spent centuries hypothesising about and testing is just plain stupid. Plus all the evangelists do is preach the exact word of the bible - so it's either time to take all the dark ages shit out, or put it in the museum.

  • Your opinion. You're 22, is it, or around there? Maybe time and wisdom will settle in with you and you will see that you're not the gatekeeper of people's rights pertaining to their spiritual beliefs! THAT is fascism of the worst kind!! "...time to take all the dark ages shit out,..."

  • all i want is for people to read books and get with the fucking programme. we're living on the verge of biological, medicinal, astronomical breakthroughs, teetering on the edge of understanding the very nature of existence, and these people just want to bang on about the second coming of christ and supernatural nonsense, propegated in the most dispicable manner possible, indoctrination of the young or naive. Period.

  • jamezmon, as I said you're real young. Get used to the world having all sorts of elements in it that don't set well with you! Talking about the second coming of Christ is not going to harm you; but the new world order and crooked leaders can!

  • "..teetering on the edge of understanding the very nature of existence,"...does not come close to explaining what a soul is. Something you cannot see, you cannot study. There is much more to life than atoms and cells in a glass dish. The world is too much with you.

  • there's no such thing as a soul. the new world order has much more power to fuck over everyone, granted. I just think if people weren't so brainwashed they wouldn't believe bush's lies, they wouldn't believe their lives are worthless, they wouldn't believe they can't make a difference, etc. religion is a big brainwasher. tv is worse. tv has got brainwashing routine life and opinion covered, and religion has got brainwashing philosophy and morality covered.

  • Where you said there's no such thing as a soul...that's where you and I are on completely different planes. People don't believe their lives are worthless; where do you get that shit? You're gone, kid.

  • we're all on the same plane - it's just a spherical plane so it's hard to see each other that way from time to time. Religion teaches you that you're significance is dwarfed by god. anyway i'm bored of this now - i may well chill out re: religion as I get older - but for the meantime it's something I feel strongly about so until I've expended my energy on it I'll continue debating with the nonsense.

  • Whatever turns ya on....peace.

  • Powerful video, it's people like evangelists that keep me an atheist!

  • Just a few of the characteristics of Christianity are: Jew worship, paranoia, schizophrenia, psychosis, miscegenation, hearing voices in your head, constant "jeeeezuz luvs me" fantasies, end-of-the-world fantasies, extreme hatred and intolerance of anyone who rejects Christianity, an enthusiastic submission to tyranny, an extreme hatred of and aversion to Nature and Natural Law, a constant zombie-like state, Jew-like behavior, and much, much more.

  • yup

  • What some famour ppl have said about christianity

    H.G. Wells (1866-1946), British author:

"The greatest evil in the world today is the Christian religion."

    William E. H. Lecky (1838-1903), Irish Historian:

"There is no wild beast so ferocious as Christians who differ concerning their faith."

Ferdinand August Bebel (1840-1913), German socialist leader:

"Christianity is the enemy of liberty and of civilization. It has kept mankind in chains."

  • Thanks for these quotes! I will have to look these guys up (I'm already familiar with Wells though).

  • re: the bebel quote, I've also come to realise that banks are also some of the most untrustworthy amoral establishments in the world today. Basically it's when you run out of money that they decide to charge you??? For money they know that you don't have? Talk about kicking people when they're down! This It's almost impossible to LIVE without having a bank account, so that's all just another form of imprisonment. You have to be part of the system. It's just plain wrong!

  • lol it is Evangelicism Fascism my god awsome video, i never thought of it that way b4, some radical quotes from evangelists

    Gary DeMar:

The long term goal [is] the execution of abortionists and parents who hire them. If we argue that abortion is murder, then we must call for the death penalty.

  • Who is that guy on the voiceover anyway? His voice sounds familiar.

  • It's Ted Haggard, the political voice and leader of the Evangelists. Talk about scary. Anyway it's nice to see that someone with an evangelical upbringing is aware of morality, ie. considering 'groups' as scum for no reason other than that they oppose their own is wrong. Good form.

  • Most evangelical Christians I know (mainly in my family anyway) are not facsicts (spelling?), but some of the loudest and most famous Evangelicals which they like to listen to really do sound like the voiceover guy in your video. And I was never taught explicitly to hate people like liberals and secularists and gays, but I was surrounded by the attitude that they were lower than scum and doing war against God. And that is scary--I know there are kids being raised like this today...

  • You fuckin' stupid little prick! You can't even spell "Evangelicalism" correctly! What simplistic, sophomoric philosophy. I'm an agnostic, but I still recognize bullshit and unfair leftist criticism when I see it.

  • Why is the always the users with no videos and no profile pictures who leave the ignorant comments? Anyway dumbass it's evangelicism 'ee-van-geli-cism', not evangelicalism. just like you say evangelist instead of evangelicalist. Not only are you an agnostic, you are also a complete twat. You've branded me stupid for mispelling something you yourself don't actually know how to spell, and you've branded me a leftist sophomore - I am neither. Try again dipshit.

  • Think again, anti-grammarian. An evangelical is one who adopts certain tenets of christian belief. What a moronic example you use -- evangelist is a preacher, you asshole. An evangelicalist is not a word. However, evangelicals are a recognized group, and to make it a political (writ fascist) movement, you would necessarily have to use the word "evangelicalism," not your lame word. And asshole klard, does phi beta kappa and a doctorate mean anything to you? I doubt it.

  • jibbytot: Man have you got problems. What language and attitude for someone who has neither education nor a dictionary.

  • Your presentation has many holes in it. Nice work(in the sense you worked hard at making this) but not accurate. You're missing some very important points because of certain blindness you have because of sin.

  • ah... the war between Truth and Fact

  • The Bible is just not one book but a bunch of books combined that was influenced by the Living God which was written from over 40 people not like other religious books which was written by one man. These Authors lived life time aparts and countries apart too and there is no way that they coulda corresponded with each other

  • I have one phrase that I must type. Stupidity does more damage than vulgarity and violence.

    p.s not aimed at jamezmon.

  • You know the crazy thing about Christianity? It's that Jesus even loves people like you and me! I mean, even after you put up this video...Jesus would still go back and die on the cross for your sins. How little you truly understand.

  • If you think the only thing the Bible says is that Jesus forgives us of our sins then it is you who do not truly understand the foundations of your own religion. And when you revise/redefine your religion you are accepting that it is not the word of God and it is YOU who have an innate morality, seperate from the Bible.

  • The statement I made was not meant to be a summary of the bible or christianity...however, if you had to take one thing out of the bible...this would be the most important thing...Without Jesus, we cannot get close to God...I'm not claiming to have all the answers and I'm not going to even pretend to know how to debate with you...All I'm saying is, Jesus IS the Way, the Truth and the Light!

  • "I'm not claiming to have all the answers and I'm not going to even pretend to know how to debate with you" - If jesus is the way the truth and the light but you don't know how to defend this belief or demonstrate it then how do you know what you are saying is true? Or even vaguely true? Go read some books on an issue before devoting your life to it.

  • What I don't understand is why you have such negative feelings toward me because I believe in something...and am happy to believe in it. Did I knock on your door and and ask you to give your life to Jesus? There will always be people without beliefs that spend their lives judging others.

  • The arrogance of Evangelicals. They talk like the only way to the father is through them. The idea that Jesus Christ would be Crucified twice is so blasphemous. Scripture is clear that he was crucified only once and that is totally sufficient. Hebrews 9:28. My disagreement with the Evangelicals is that they know the words of Scripture but so contort and twist the meaning. Titus 1:10.

  • Check out Chris Hedges on Democracy Now. You can stream the interview from February 19, 2007. It's really like this.

  • The best part about this video is the Snoop Dogg phonetic spelling of fascism. Fa shizzem!

  • Thought provoking vid, thx. I fear that those that need to hear this message most are already blind and deaf to the message, much like the germans in the 1930's. its worrying that millions want armaggedon so they can meet jesus
