"Stoney" came to Belize last year for Jerry Jeff's Camp Belize. I not only got to meet him but helped him get back to his hotel after the concert. Once there he asked if my friend and I could stay a bit and chat. He lit his pipe and told us the real story of this song and then we talked about his travels and his life. I'll never forget it. An incredible man and incredible storyteller.
