How is IOS 5 better than this? IOS 5 Universal Search? I didn't think so . Heck My 4S can't synch most things MP4 forget it you have to buy Quicktime 7 Pro before you can convert to MP4. I tunes doesn't display the installed ringtones. and only creates a ringtone directory when you convert an . mpa to .mpr. and drag it in.

I'd be very happy if WebOS 2.0 comes out on the 9th. I've had the palm pre plus since the day it came out and I have enjoyed it a lot, I've used an iPhone and wasn't really happy with it. I like the just type feature a lot, I'm not really a fan of the stacks tho, that doesnt really look useful, looks like more of a hassle.

Really love the interface and very intuitive why is it HP is not working on the 3.5inch and slimmer type of smartphone. HP are wasting the resources(Web OS). I even think that this has the potential for Tablet the orientation really good. Plus if they partner this with high resolution this will be a very very competitive OS that can also match Android sluggish OS and IOS. This should be a hit i guess the WEAK POINT of HP is the marketing and pitching the product and lack of development on the OS

I would've loved to have a higher res and slightly larger display, an on-screen keyboard, better back camera and a front camera... Basically everything that would bring it on par with iPhone 4. This hardware is more of a competitor for the BlackBerry Torch than for the iPhone unfortunately.

webos 2.0 came out in October for the Pre 2. You're Pre Plus will definitely come with webos 1.4, cause there is still no 2.0 out for the older devices. Palm announced it for the upcoming months, but didn't specify when exactly.

But don't worry, upgrading the OS on the phone is done by only one "update" click.

It seems to run slower than my pre did at 800mhz. After using iOS, android and webos its really hard to recommend webos. WebOS 2.0 honestly looks more like a .x revision of 1.4 than a full new version its pretty underwhelming honestly.

Its a good update but i was really hoping for a completely new hardware release. maybe they will still announce galaxy S-esque webos device idk. No virtual keyboard, same screen size and res, no front camera, same keyboard. The hardware is not 2 much better than the torches. WebOS software is waayyy better but its not enough to compete or make me stay palm...sorry. Plus if iphone comes 2 Verizon this wont exist. They need to release on Sprint.
