Can someone please tell me how to get into the warehouse in Level 7 - can't seem to get in there, I can jump up to the warehouse floor level by the fallen garage door but can't seem to get in.
Hey, quick question, what did you use to record/edit the in-game video? I tried recording it with the Doxbox recorder but Windows Movie Maker doesn't recognize the format.
This looks a lot like the Skynet game. I was wondering, if you have the Skynet game, do you know how to get into cyberdine in the third level? There is a big irradiateed pot hole blocking the door and I can't seem to get past it. I've looked for walkthroughs on the net and I can't find any. Seems few people remember this game.
I have Skynet as well (which was made with the same engine as Future Shock) but haven't played it yet, so unfortunalety I can't help you.
I certainly believe you about the scarcity of info on Skynet; while searching for walkthroughs for Future Shock I found only one, very brief text on that game. I mean, there are obscure games from the early 1980 which have more guides written about them than that...
Yea, it's poo. I spent a good 3 or 4 hours trying to figure out how to get into this dam building. I killed every enemy in the outside level, searched every building I could find, nothing.
I ended up using the cheat to automatically complete the mission. I found a bunch of sites that listed the cheats for the game. I've completed a couple of the following missions and have not had the same problem. Sure, I got stuck in places, but not impossibly so.
Oh man, I have really created a comment massacre here. I would like to post the URL of the walkthrough of SkyNET, but I cannot. It is located on memberDOTfortunecityDOTcom/chrisgt/t06.htm
That's OK. It's very annoying that URLs can't be posted properly on YouTube - you'd think a popular site like this would have a more sophisticated spam filter than "don't accept any Internet addresses whatsoever"...
Your right, that's not obvious. I know the place your talking about. I tried jumping from there. Also, there dose not seem to be any indication that it's interactive in any way. I mean I tried blowing up a nearby lamp post witch did nothing.
I also tried jumping from the shell of the building on the posit side. Almost made it a couple of times.
The "Highway 17" chapter of Half-Life 2 is also somewhat reminiscent of this level, albeit in a different setting (post apocalyptic countryside instead of post-apocalyptic LA.
What I love most is the sound effects for the car, it definitely has a roar to it, it feels like segment from Terminator where you get to see the car combat in action versus a Hunter-Killer.
Man, that map is large!

the bit where you hit a walking enemy with the corner of your vehicle was pretty cool..

Still I feel a little cheated.

The solution is not obvious: You have to shoot the flagpole on the buidling next to the Cybedyne building and use it as a brige.

Yeah, that one took me a good 1 1/2 hours or so to figure out, lol. But I did it without using a walkthrough so I'm happy.

this game was ahead of it's time. I see inspiration for the following awesome games:
footsteps: thief
car and air levels: Farcry and Crysis
'open ended' levels: every game

Except in the film Reese and that gunner horribly lost against it.
