  • Jeep need to realise they have had their day now they just copy landrover two words to jeep FUCK OFF

  • @stuttiokilljoy96 learn to speak, and then get some damn sense. the jeep copies the landrover? what in the world is wrong with you?

  • I would have been more impressed if it had stock tyres :p

  • Rubicon comes factory with those tires. It was the driver though.

  • @Jony80031 Haha who did Land Rover copy in 1947?

  • @ CHEZZYLEE, if all American cars are shit, then what is the fastest production car out right now?

  • I pulled a stock wrangler out of a mud pit with my stock land rover. Ever think its the driver more than the vehicle? And the wrangler took a different approach than the rover

  • @FenderBassMaster610 i pulled a dodge truck out of the mud on my mustang... i was on the road and he was in the mud, its all relative, no two situations are the same.

  • I pulled a stock wrangler out of a mud pit with my stock land rover. Ever think its the driver more than the vehicle?

  • I've owned both rigs in various specs; 96' & 04 SE7 Disco's, '91 YJ, 97 TJ & 07 JK Rubi Unlimited (now lifted with 35's and some power upgrades). The JK is an inspiring ride; like photoshop for the trial, makes quick work of average problems (with some limitations). That said, the video is apple to oranges. The disco took a tough deep line and the JK didn't. A defender 90 or 110 with lockers would be a bit more interesting methinks.

  • jeep used a better line in.

  • I didn't even have to see the video to know how this was going to turn out lol.

  • the girl in the end wants his phone number. you can tell.

  • Land Rovers should be kept off the trail & be used as they normally do. As fashion statements! Keep on Jeeping!!!

  • @codysbooher no ill stick with my defender in moab

  • haha, that jeep said yous a bitch

  • jeep is the best off road vehicle u can buy, enough said.

  • @simjon13 you can buy a an h1

  • @Jony80031 watch?v=GxI4XQVtlfA&feature=related fuck that

  • P.s, americans cant make decent cars,

  • I'll be honest. I've owned a disco, but Jeep is better (which I still own). Yes, disco had smaller tires, yes it had to stop cause a vehicle was in the way. Yes the rubicon had 32" tires, yes he was a smarter driver, and finally YES! THE JEEP IS BETTER THE LAND ROVERS!

  • the jeep made it up because the LR flatnened out the gravel.

  • There's 20 years of engineering, and "Stock" lockers... This is a pretty unfair comparison, and the Rubicon is not "Stock" in the traditional sense of the word, but rather purpose built from the factory.

  • But answer me this why do so many military organisations across the world use Land Rover Defenders? (including the American Army Rangers!)

  • Americans vs. The British ( I'm one) I'll admit I'm fond of the Landy more but that's just biased like the rest of these comments and excuses will always be at hand. They are both good cars and when evenly pitched.....No difference. So please SHUT THE FUCK UP. Thank You

  • Sounds slightly like a cummins. Slightly though .

  • the guy didnt even go in the same ruts as the land rover

  • depend on driver

  • im a jeep guy, but the jeep did have mud tires.

  • @buggydude3 so did the range rover, BFG Mud-terrains

  • jeep had way better tires and a different line than the Landy...had the landy taken same line no problem

  • Pfft... Oh yeah, the jeep pick an easy line while the disco pick the worse line.... Thats all......

  • lol hahaha A Rubicon destroys all STOCK vehicles...don't be envious that American Supremacy of off road ingenuity and engineering has forever dominated and trumped horrible british land rover engineering...so amusing.

  • @bcolavolpe yeah but that was like a 95 disco vs like a 08 jeep look how long it took us americans to beat the british they had it figured out way befor we did and we more then likely stole there ideas anyways. put a 95 jeep up against the 95 disco i bet it wont win then ?

  • @bcolavolpe land rover is better you patriotic asshole!

  • @bcolavolpe wrangler had offroading tyres on, disco didnt.

  • @bcolavolpe ha ha your such a fuck head if land rovers are so bad then why is the new grand cherokee a land rover copy

  • @bcolavolpe haha i drove a jag for 3 years, now im buying a 2012 wrangler unlimited....one more unhappy customer

  • hahahaha no matter what car wins people ALWAYS have excuses.

  • jeep had better tires and missed the obstacle, useless pieces of American sh*t

  • your a piece of American shit lol jk

  • yea, jeep have diferent tires and take a diferent path mor to teh left

  • rubicon have a big mud tyres

  • @discovery110

    stock size.

  • @bibos72 I think in Europe, even the Jeep Rubicon is sold with Sport (street) tires. Look at other video's on this site from European Jeep owners.

  • @NemeanLion its sold there with a diesel

  • @Jony80031 I know that.

  • @discovery110 land rover had BF Goodrich Mud terrains, so dont talk about tires

  • @bertman668 land rover had bf mud tyres but jeep have siroco havy duty tyres, is the top of of road tyres.

  • @discovery110 and idk where your from but a tire size that is 205r80 first of all don't make sense because its missing a number, second that would mean that the LR had 80" rims

and fedima sirocco tires are stupid expensive so ill stick with my BFGs anyhow, BTW you might want to invest in some grammar classes as I have to read your comments twice or more to understand them

  • @bertman668 205/80r16 sory about my mestake, you can´t see wat i mean without asking? that make sense to me. damn

And i can t see wat is the jeep tyre brand loooool. you can? i only put siroco because the padron tipe of the tire. is the best you can found.

  • @discovery110 i dont know what kind of tires the jeep had i just know that the LR had BFG MTs, you're the one that said they're sirocos or whatever.

and no I do not know what you mean when you say a tire size that makes no sense, no one would lol.

if I told you my tires on my truck were 12.5xr17 would you know what size they were? NO because I left out a # lol I'm not trying to be a dick I'm just saying what I know and what I saw from the video

  • @discovery110

    the tires are stock rubicons

  • HA he straddled the hole. all i saw was a jeep too afraid to drive through the real obstacle.

  • ummmmmm. the jeep had better tires and took a different angle. Land rover rules

  • either the Land Rover made it look hard, or the Jeep made it look easy....... anyways Jeep FTW...

  • if you look at the video again, you will see the disco had to stop because there was another car in front of him

  • Put a defender in there FFS

  • from all of thaws that says the land rover was worst driver I can accept that I can't accept that the land rover is good as the wrangler rubicon the land rover discovery is no match from the wrangler rubicon the only land rover that can stand up at the rubicon is the defender and again the wrangler rubicon is a better off road

  • umm, well the tire tread on the jeep was way more agressive then the discovery... which may have something to do with it...

  • jeep wins!!!! watch the proof

  • The guy driving the disco is just a moron that doesn't know how to offroad. And I agree with pallen921. After seeing a failed attempt prior to going into that, any experienced driver would be able to make it with a honda civic.

  • @XIII10111 Idiot. The disco obviously hit a hole that the jeep avoided. Maybe you were thinking that was your ass, since you obviously don't know your ass from a hole in the ground. Go put a fart cannon and a giant wing on your 92 HP 1990 Eclipse.

  • @PumpingSmashkins Since you struggle with reading comprehension let me break down what I just said. The rover got stuck and could not get out but continued trying to get out the same way and it WAS NOT WORKING.

Then driver of the Jeep looked at the situation and realized the Disco OBVIOUSLY couldn't make it up the way it was trying to. So he made an educated guess that it was a bad idea to do the same thing. Make more sense there buddy? You said the same thing. And I drive Disco you moron.

  • @XIII10111 Since I comprehended your idiotic post just fine, let me break it down for you: You called the disco driver a moron for not having been able to see a hole made invisible by feet of muddy water. Once he had hit it, of course he's going to struggle to get out of it, but get out of it he did. You, of course, would magically have immediately determined the exact dimensions of the still invisible hole and avoided it on the next attempt. Idiot. Get back in your riced-out Eclipse.

  • @PumpingSmashkins your struggles continue I see. The Disco driver is an idiot, not because he got stuck on the first try, but because after getting stuck, he sat there with his foot on the gas obviously getting nowhere for quite some time. He did not reassess the situation or attempt to approach the obstacle in a different way for quite some time where an experienced driver would have done so immediately. And again, I drive a Disco and have never owned anything but rovers. GTFOff the internet.

  • @XIII10111 Don't forget the Jeep was a Rubicon and had it in 4lo. this engages the lockers and give the highest torque setting to the wheel so he just has to let it coast. Disco should have reassessed the situation but wanted to be manly and try harder before changing his stance. Sense of pride at this point

  • @gt90guy You do actually have to engage the lockers with a switch in a Rubicon. They do not turn on automatically when in 4L.

  • @insanefwb yepp its got a switch

  • WTF it is pretty obvious that the landy went in a big pot hole and the guy in the jeep saw this and consistently went around it!

  • It's simple. The jeep driver is better and picks the route to suit his vehicle + wheelbase. I've owned and driven std. and modified landrovers from a 1951 80" to a rangerover lse lwb 1995 and could get them all through that at the first attempt - especially if I had witnessed a prior failed attempt. I've driven a couple of jeeps as well and could also get them through.

  • THE BEST OF OFF ROAD, JEEP IS A JEEP the rest are toys

  • @telmomusic the jeeps are the toys, that's why most of them are so heavily modded.the one on this video has lockers and land rovers don't

  • Jeep had Super Swmpers and chose a different line. Nothing "VS." going on here.

  • u would think it would be the other way around with the jeep and land rover, usually its the jeep modded, and the land rover stock

  • The Rubicon jeep also has front and rear lockers, still love the jeeps.

  • isn't that land rover a little out dated compared to that brand new wrangler?

  • @shechshire doesnt matter how old or new a jeep is, i could take a 1970 jeep through that just as easy

  • @steffenhagen69 you could take a 1970's landy through as well

  • Comment removed

  • These "Vs" videos never fail to crack me up. The Discovery simply was badly driven through this particular obstacle....he started going practically sideways...and probably had center-lock off. The rubi probably had the diff locks fully engaged.

The white Defender and the Range Rover up ahead probably made it through with litlle problem just like the Rubicon.

  • I mean they both got through this doesn't really show a winner
