aber wie es noch leicht bergab geht... kannst mir nix erzählen ich hab ebenfalls nen 2.5 e34 m50b25 vanos von 95 sogar. und meiner schaffts im ersten bis zum anschlag gepresst auf 60. deiner geht schon auf die 70 zu. keine chance :)

It's a beast! I got one and at 220.000km I hit 240km/hour on the hwy. The engine is a v 6 aluminum alloy, lights powerful 200hp, and cleaner then a dentists office. Only bobo is the transmission. BMW used GM parts. Every 200.000km needs a rebuild.(damn yanks!) But that's it. Overall solid car, and for it's year and consumption(2.5) ... Very powerful. I still beat new mustangs at 270.000km. Ps bought mine for 4000$. Worth every cent.

its good. you got the 1. vanos version. there is a double vanos version in the e36 but i cant remember which year

Wow. That's movin'. I have a E34 525i auto w/ VANOS - it's as fast or faster at times than my E28 533i auto.  BMW says a `92 525i (no vanos) does 0-60 in 10.0sec. In `93 with vanos it'll do it in 9.1. The Vanos and 4 lb. ft more torque is the only difference, hp and trans. is the same.

Does the 525i in this vid. have a chip?

the torquedifferent ist not much. a 520 need 10 sek. from 0-100 (KM).

Wow, this is the best acceleration of a 525i I´ve ever seen. In about 6sec till 100km/h and 15sec till 160km/h that is really really great.Where are you from I´d love to see this monster of a car!

This definitely is possible in a chipped 525i Vanos with low-weight flywheel. Especially when the fuel tank is empty and there's only one person in the car.

The specifications in the manufacturer's manual (8.6 seconds) are based on at least a half-full tank plus a passenger (and no chip or other mods)

series BMW Tacho have problem.Show from 10-12kmph. With speed 10-12kmph wheels not slip and I down full gas and akcelerate.Beyond tacho respond, i have 50kmph. indicator tacho have delay and that discountenance drive. Sorry for English

Wow, this is quite fast. I drive an E34 525i 24V (M50B25, no VANOS) myself. I've also chipped it, but I can't approach your acceleration time..

Did the low-weight flywheel make such a big change in performance? Or is a chipped M50TU just a lot faster than a plain M50 (no VANOS)?

Can you describe your take-off technique? You seem to rev to 2000 RPM, then floor the gas pedal and release the clutch.. Correct?
