Yeah that 430 isn't a regular 430. It's one of the ones they modified when developing the 458. Notice the extra scoops on the back etc.

@BillyWithTalent666 The 430 is most likely a test mule for the 458 with the rear end modified to accommodate the 458's engine, Ferrari and other car companies do this frequently. Infact, Dodge Vipers were used as test mules for the new Mercedes SLS engine.

I think they put tape over the slits/openings between the bodywork. The reason being is that if air is allowed through the small cracks, it could possibly increase air drag.

I'm not the biggest fan of American cars, but saying that they can't go around corners is somewhat stupid. Most cant' but the current 2 fastest production cars around the Nurburgring are the Viper SRT-10 ACR and the Corvette ZR1, plus the CTS-V is the first sedan to break the 8 minute barrier. They can make cars that go around corners fine, but they still can't make quality interiors.

Currently these 2 cars you mention are 6th and 10th around the Nurburgring. The quickest Ferrari there is around 8 years old and it beat the Corvettes time. See the Viper they used is basically a racecar with numberplates. Highly modified but used the same engine. The Corvette came there with a factory team inorder to set a record. Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche. They dont do this. They got their own tracks where they tailor their cars to fit their customers. Not for setting silly records.

Let me help you out a bit there azrebels.......i have a Porsche 911.....its not the best car in the world, but i got that car because i dont buy cars just for speed or handling. i buy them because i love the looks and the feel i get from the car. and most people buy Ferrari's and Porsche's because of the badge that comes with it. and plus, like you said. they have all the money in the world, so why not have a car that isnt the fastest nor the best handling, if you can buy one that IS?

The 360 looks the best, it was all new from 355 pretty much. The 430 looks good but the headlamps are a little too small and some of the changes don't flow with the lines. The cars have gotten uglier since the 360, but you have to look at the tech advances they've made, the 458 is miles ahead of the 360 in that department..

It's an F1 Gearbox. No clutch pedal or traditional gearshift, but the driver has a set of paddles he uses to change gears. Gear changes are almost instantaneous

It's actually the opposite, I believe -- that's an older mule that Ferrari used before official 458 photos were revealed to try to better cover up the design.
