  • GreekFoodTV! I love your channel and I tried to make this tonight... followed the recipe to the T. But, the octopus turned out SO chewy it was unappetizing. Can you help me figure out why? I did buy a larger octopus than you had at the local market, so that might be one of the reasons. I also noticed that it had the slightest of odors (I cook a lot of seafood. While it might have not been right out of the ocean, it surely wasn't old). How can I get my octopus tender?! Help?

  • @dcfreak23 you have to boil it in a low heat(it's gonna take some time )otherwise you can use a cork (from a wine bottle ) while it's boiling

  • Beautiful. Looks amazing. Thanks for this.

  • That looks realy realy good .I like it a little chewy

  • I read that olive oil isnt suppose to be heated to high tempetures .Is that true ? I don't believe it .

  • @selfreliantboy True.....olive oil, unlike peanut oil and some others can only take so much heat before it starts to smoke! Not very pleasant.Use in salads, and blended with lighter oils for the flavour.Best Wishes!
