Is it just me or is Todd something of a douche? I mean, I love his work, but saying stuff like 'There will never be another Todd McFarlane in comics again' and 'Revenge is actually a pretty sweet thing' comes off as pretty bad.

I don't personally care for Spawn, or Todds art, but LOVE his work ethic. I respect anyone who can follow through on THEIR vision ant not wait around for someone else to tell them what to do, or give them a job. Toddies my hero because he refused to be used. As a creative myself, he a perfect role model for being YOURSELF in a world where everyone one s trying to be lime everyone else.

I resect Tiddbecase he's one f the few artists who successfully combined tge left brain and right brain, broke out of the FANBOY stage so many creators get lost in, and refused to be "Jack Kirbied". So many artists got/get screwed b argercompanies never dreaming THEY can BE the company. Much respect to him.

Spawn is such a phenomenal comic book. It never ceases to amaze me at how personally involved I get with the characters in Spawn. The atmosphere is always powerful, foreboding and creepy and the battles are always earth-shaking and exciting. It is definitely one of the most existential comic books ever made in the way that it deals with the themes of love and hate and condemnation and damnation with a small glimmering hope of redemption.

Spawn is one of the greatest comics in the world the only reason that not many people know about it is because it was rejected by mainstream and corporaite america because of the dark and twisted bass of the comic but why does it matter its better than a grown man in tights were you can see his dick and his weakness is crystal meth....X )
