The scarce dialogue, cinematography but specially the 2 young leads are ... inspiring, breathtaking, relentless. the awkward perfection of this sound insert is, for me, the perfect metaphor of the surprising stuff this animation is made of

This is the one of the most epic trailers i've ever seen. Nothing short of awesome. Question is though, where the hell was all this in the actual movie? Where the fuck was Akuma? Where was Gen? Seriously, such a disappointment when I saw none of these in the actual The Ties That Bind..

I like this trailer--Akuma does his worst in this clip. He's kind of pissed that Ryu hasn't yet embraced the Satsui No Hadou. Ryu knows better than what Akuma believes, though....

OK so, once upon a time (1987) Capcom created a game called Street Fighter where the only two playable characters were Ryu and his rival Ken. Then, 7 years later Gouki/Akuma made his debut in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a secret charactor/boss. Of course if you wanna believe the plot your opinion makes sense :)

both gouki and gouken were in the same doji. however, gouken didn't like the ways of the style and left to make his own dojo (and passed on the ways to ryu & ken . also to dan at one for for a short time but that doesn't matter).

This trailer by itself is so much better than anything in the godawful anime "The Ties that Bind," that came with SF4. It should have been called, "The Ties That Bore." And shame on Capcom for teasing us with such a cool trailer and having NONE of that in the actual game or movie. They didn't have any cool training or fighting scenes shown here. NONE of that cool stuff that SF fans would enjoy. Just boring scenes with C. Viper talking on the cellphone and Seth talking about mumbo jumbo to Ryu.
