i dont get it, people keep saying how the graphics aren't good. i have two things to say about that.

1) its an mmo. it needs to be able to run on a variety of systems and thats exactly what they're doing.

2) i honestly think the graphics look fantastic anyway. the art style is great and i just cant even see whats wrong with it.

bounty hunter = ranged dps tank... imperial agent = ranged dps healer... warrior = melee dps tank... and inquisitor = melee dps healer... (you pick either dps, or a heal/tank spec) so 8 classes on each team with NO identical skills, and lets not forget 5 hours of original music

@wildboy789789 ummm actually no.Bounty hunter is not a tank and no word on if it will be a tank.Imperial agent is not a healer, the only reported healing skill it has is a self heal which does not make it a healer.Inquisitor will not be melee dps or a healer.Consulars will be healer/force dps/ little melee and inquisitors will be force/ as well as some health being drained from foes, but only characters with direct heals can be considered healers. i.e. in WoW warlock can drain, but is not healer

And yes I know smugglers have heals, as said in the multiplayer video the smuggler can do a little healing, but I didn't say anything about the smuggler, imperial agent is not a smuggler, there is no info on if imperial agents can heal or not, and if you saw some then it's wrong. Ok inquisitor is melee dps, but I just didn't read forums for it, but no you still cannot wear plate as one.

And anyway I did happen to look on the forum page for that and the facts are not confirmed whether or not the smuggler will get actual healing. They do have self heals though, which is what I said. And who cares if you've been following the site since it went up? the game has not come out yet so who cares. I did however just disprove everything you said with obvious evidence. thanks bye.

@EpictheEpicest Bounty Hunter will choose between tank and dps ac. Same than mirror class Trooper. Also SW and JK will both choose between tank and dps too. So it's very likely (not confirmed) that IA can also heal 'cause Smuggler can.

@tennispro3782 I'm pretty sure they omitted music from these clips to showcase the dialogue and weapon/attack sfx. I've seen quests in this game in demos - all had some form of music playing. Particularly during battle scenes.

everyone who loves wow is going to make some excuse for why this game is like "wow in space" when they havent played it. i love how everyone was like "show us something new in a MMO" and when a MMO comes out that has what looks like nice gameplay, story driven quests, choices that people will make that will effect how a mission plays out they act like its nothing. The game was demoable to the PUBLIC on the 17th. Thegalacticstruggle could very well have played this early. If I remember correctly, there was a conference in Europe where certain people had the chance to demo the game a few months back.

I can tell this fully-voiced quest dialogue is going to spoil me for text quests. I love the voices and story. I am going to be so engaged by having it acted out right in front of me, going back to reading it will seem like pulling out fingernails.

I find it amusing all the gripe about how the graphics aren't just in your face exceptional. All I can say is, in 2001 SW:G had state of the art graphics but less than stellar gameplay. It still has better character animations than all the other MMO's. But has one of the lowest amount of subscribers.

Gameplay, and to a lesser extent Story > F/X.

I mean look at WoW. Judge it's popularity by graphics, do you?

This is actual, ingame footage with the UI removed. Whether this particular video is from the devs or not is irrelevant - the game is actually demoable to the people who made it to E3. Those people are saying this game plays very well. Developers don't demo a game unless they feel it is far enough along in production, and Bioware has this available for the PUBLIC to demo. I'd say you can consider this video a very real indicator of gameplay.

It's pre-rendered videos to demonstrate crap. exactly the same way wow videos are made by blizzard. Wheres the UI, chat etc? Dev descriptions of current gameplay, if its still heavily instanced etc. I know youa re a huge bioware fanboi but cmon, take off those rose tinted glass's and look at it realistically. I like starwars, and some bioware games, but the fact they are showign the same things over and over again is just plain stupid

And, from my hands on, I didnt see any chat bubbles. I had a concern if it wasnt heavily instanced and this wont be the case
