@InspiredArtsHD If You Still Can;t Do Take Your Finished JPG IMAGE and open in paint. then save and close...try uploading then. (NOTE: It Still won't be 256k or under, but it should work. HOPE I HELPED IF YOU STILL COULDNT DO IT)

hey well what you have to do is save it as a jpg file and set it to medium quality then you can upload it to your youtube and bigger than medium quality it will not work

@InspiredArtsHD Basically, when you save the file as JPEG, another a little thing should pop up and it should say quality 10 and a bar, the higher the quality the larger the file size, put the quality to about 6 and that makes it around 250kb :)

@PoliticalSmackdown Go to your channel, select 'Themes and Colors', then select 'show advanced options' and where it says 'Background Image' click 'Choose' to select your file. Also make sure to save your Photoshop file as a JPEG before doing that.

Great tutorial but like a few others I'm having difficulty in getting a decent file size for uploading to youtube. Does anyone know what to do to get the file size below 256kb yet retain quality? Seems pretty pointless working on such a large canvas if you have to re-size the end result in order to upload it. Give this a thumbs up so Andre can see it and hopefully give us an answer.

@GadgeLLMTB Make the width of the canvas size 1920 pixels. That should be small enough to work with YouTube. (YouTube now supports up to 1 MB now I believe.)

@andrezekic it works sometimes but other times it does not. also when i choose the canvas size that you said to use. i click ok, and a message pops up saying that errors could occur if the planes are 30,000 pix/inch or something like that.

there would be no real reason to upgrade my comp either as i have an hp hpe-450t i7.
