Just too bad the King Tiger is trash on COH. Turret should turn faster than a Tiger I, one somewhat making up for it's low mobility. Even with poor steel quality during the years it was build, it is still a moving fortress. Blitzkrieg mod really does Tanks on this game justice, incorperate sthe barrel length into their minimum shooting range to, get too close to king tiger with sherman M4 basic model, a long barrel tank is useless. hehe
What killed the KT was probably the player's attempt to go around the AT gun, after the Pershing dropped. If he just sat there and blast the AT gun to pieces he would not have been out flanked by the sherman so easily later (the only reason the Panzer IV couldn't help was obviously the AT gun).

1vs1 the sherman wins over a king tiger... if it keeps driving around it. The king tiger can't turn it's turret fast enough to follow the driving sherman.
I did this today, I kept trying a bombing run on the King Tiger but it moved each time so I got a bunch of 3 Shermans to circle it and shoot the rear each time, Took me about 3-5 turns to get it down. So I'd agree with everyone, It's the King TIger that owns!

His first mistake was to let your AT being able to fire: 2 shots of the KT could have killed it. Then the Pershing, ok no mistakes. Against the Sherman, he could have destroyed it if he had moved his KT further. Here you could easily move your Sherman faster than his turret. Nice job anyway my friend :)

King tiger comes from the Wermacht terror doctrine,
Tiger is Wermacht blitz doctrine,
only doctrine tanks the P.E. are the Hetzer (tank destroyer), Jagd panther ( tank destroyer),
Wirlberwind AA tank (Luftwaffe),
and the Hummel mobile artillery tank (Scorched earth). Just to clear up any mistakes to axis doctrine tanks also StuH comes from Wermacht blitz as well.
for Tiger King, you got to play as Panzer Elite, then you have to select the appropriate Command Properties, and then one of the last Command abilities is the King Tiger!
Otherwise, if u play as whermacht you can easly make a lot of Panzers which are more than a match against Shermans,
My Panzer took out 4 hell-cats and still survived...

This is why Company of heroes is awesome, it doesn't matter what you've got. If you use it like a noob someone with something half as good will beat the shit out of you. Too many RTS it's just about picking the right unit and attack moving. Try that in CoH and stuff like this happens.

I disagree with this statement. The KT could have easily destroyed the Sherman had the player give it the chance and not used it's speed against it. Even a damaged KT is enough to take down the lightly armored Sherman, therefore the title is spot on. He used the Sherman in an extremely effective manner, out maneuvered his opponents clearly more powerful KT and seized victory.

This is why Company of heroes is awesome, it doesn't matter what you've got. If you use it like a noob someone with something half as good will beat the shit out of you. Too many RTS it's just about picking the right unit and attack moving. Try that in CoH and stuff like this happens.
(Dawn of War 2 doesn't quite capture this fully either which I think is a shame)

I disagree with this statement. The KT could have easily destroyed the Sherman had the player give it the chance and not used it's speed against it. Even a damaged KT is enough to take down the lightly armored Sherman, therefore the title is spot on. He used the Sherman in an extremely effective manner, out maneuvered his opponents clearly more powerful KT and seized victory.

I stand by my statements that the KT was poorly micro'd, and was already severely damaged by a Pershing and a 57mm. You said you disagreed with me, then went on to mention the Sherman micro, which isn't so much disagreeing with me, as it is changing the subject. Either explain that the KT was micro'd well, or shut up and leave me alone.

I was disagreeing with you saying that the title should be changed because in my opinion the KT still had as much a chance to take out the Sherman without the Pershing and AT.
