no offense meant i just came looking for thrash metal only, track4 definately power metal. Possibly clearer catagories.
Perhaps to make it easier to decipher; I'd reccomend whichever one fits sound wise into each category I've just listed a few obvious examples pioneers of the art Thrash sound: (Old) Exodus, (new) Evile. Death metal sound: (old) Death (newer) Nile. Power metal: Rhapsody of fire, stratovarious

Heavy music has always been about rebellion. Wasn't Christ a rebel? It took a lot of strength and power to edure what Christ did. He could have fled. But he stood up to his persecuters. What no one understands is that what is "brutal" or "dark" is totally up to perception. No one thinks their should be christian death metal because death metal is percieved as dark. But really death metal isn't dark at all, it's just a style of music.
So think of it as christians playing their music through a different style. Liking the death metal sound does not make someone dark or satanic or whatever.
