@CARLOSRA8620 Becuase UK acts have a hard time here. Uk pop for the most part just doesn't translate here. Even a big act like Kylie Minogue took until 2009 to tour in the US. Not to mention GA has not done well outside the UK. Even in Nadine's home country of Ireland they don't sell very well. England is the best place they sell. They tried to go to Australia but stopped eventually becuase no matter what they did they didn't sell records there. It's unfortunate but the sad truth =/

@CARLOSRA8620 I hope so but doubt it. First of all thier future is still in question right now, second these songs are all old now. By the time they come up withany new material it will more than likely be 2012 (according to Nicola) I think the window of time to make it in the US and worldwide has passed for them as a group. I hope it happens one day but it's just not realistic. However I think Cheryl and Nadine could make it here as solo artists (they already live in LA) fingers crossed tho (:

@blackwarb Well, GA are a great group but they aren't very serious. Thier songs are fun, silly songs about clubbing and boys without alot of real deep meaning. And while that's great not everyone likes that and want more substance (ie like the Spice Girls or Destiny's Child who would even have gospel medley's on some of thier albums.)Kate Bush didn't really want to make it here as you said. As for others I guess UK pop just doesn't reflect on life in the US the way Latin and Canadian pop does.

@blackwarb I guess it's the same reason why Country music doesn't do as well in the UK, it doesn't connect there like in the US, Can, and Australia ( all places that have frontier "cowboy" histories). The US has certainly put out some great music, but we are a pale comparison to the contributions the UK has made. You all produced for the world the likes of Kate Bush, and so many other innovators.
