I think goliaths are quite adorable but i wouldn't go near one.. they are nice to look at!! I could never eat one though.. although how it's described and stuff they sound surprisingly tasty lol!!

I actually went to an exotic restaurant with my family. My dad loved the tarantulas with some type of bug dip. I wasn't too pleased. They did have some normal food but I wouldn't eat rice while my mom was eating insect larvae. So yes I went without dinner.

I agree with your sentiment over Tarantulas. i hate the idea of them as food, but I accept some cultures like them as a protein source.

Eating a tiger is illegal, but eating a zebra is pretty common as bush meat in Africa, and even as a restaurant meal there in some parts. They are often bred specifically for it, just like Buffalo, Kangaroos, Emus, Crocodiles, Warthogs, Impala and heaps of other things that are legitimate food that westerners find distasteful.

ive only tried them fried, its weird tasting in a good way :) the legs were crunchy and they body was crunchy juicy... at first it felt weird, but after the 3rd one i was like oh snap i'll take some to go XD

Spiders and wasps battles have always been the best fights to watch in my opinion.

It's sad though the spider always loses against those tarrantula hawks. I've never seen a spider win. Against other wasps it's pretty tight though.

kinda feel awful how they have to witness burning as being roasted alive is possibly the most painful experience to ever have. Though stabbing it won't offer a swift death and the only way is smashing which on;y deforms them. Though they do look tasty, but I rather see them alive than in the oven.

To prepare a menu and cook food for the Explorers Club, you would have to have an obsession or fascination for biology/anatomy. Its a bit creepy though.
