@dacarfreak2000 nope, they arnt laser scanned.. they are moddled from photo's as show in interviews and for gt5 only the prem cars are redone.. the standard are from the trailer at least, just upscaled versions on the gt4 models.. and wont have cockpits.. gt4 was great for the time, but this is 2010 now.. and vid games advance fast

Deadlines mean somethings have to be cut. I wouldn't be surprised if these cars showed up in later iterations, however.

Whenever PD shooting Gran turismo game it's always a car heaven hundreds of rare cars and race cars showed up in one place. Twin ring motegi was that place back in 2004. I Was there! wonder where they shoot for GT5., guess at the same place and more beautiful cars than rare one's.

"Beyond the Apex" was a much longer and more in-depth video about the making of the game. It was included in the Blu-Ray version of GT5 Prologue.

Yeah I've seen it.. I have it, but they still don't relay tell how exactly they laser scan the cars, or how if they laser scan, or GPS the tracks, all they talk about is how many months it takes to make a car and how many polygons. They need something more detail. Talk about what kind of physics engine they use to simulate stuff as well. Stuff like that I would be more interested to watch.

I know it sounds good, but I bet it's hell for 5 years. Did you see their OFFICE? they have bunkers to sleep in .. I bet most guys there work their butts off in there. As well recording 400th car of would get tired some. All props for them tho!
