and give clemburke a break. this is her/his only happiness in life. she/he posts the same thing on every post in regards to charlie brown/charles schultz. i don't think she/he knows anything else about charles shultz. for some reason, she/he thinks that it's important we all know he was an athiest, but i don't know why. doesn't even matter.
He last called himself a secular humanist. Although he didn't have ties to organized religion, I don't believe he absolutely didn't believe in God on some level, some definition.
Charles Schulz is one of my favorite cartoonists and he has been a great inspiration to me in terms of pursuing my own animated aspirations. I saw this program last night on PBS and it was fantastic thanks for posting it.If you get a chance check out my cartoon Hip Hoppity and the Sundance Race. I'd love to hear your comments.
Is this the documentary where they talk about him watching Citizen Kane 35 times? The documentary painted him as someone with Aspergers Syndrome.

He was religious for most of his life, but eventually became an atheist. That's the truth.
Anyways, with that out of the way. I love Peanuts -- both the comic and the Melendez/Mendelson/Guaraldi cartoons.

He was a devout for ages. Schulz was most certainly NOT an athiest. Silly rabbit.
