Someone was nice enough to sell me a video of the whole series (7 eps) a long time ago. When it was originally on, I caught maybe the last 3 eps, and was really mad when it was cancelled! This was a great show!

I was referring to the near-equal exchange of blows. Fighters who are skilled in the martial arts seldom are impressive to watch against one another. I like Rick Springfield. He's an above-average musician.

Actually he can play any stringed instrument plus keyboard...he is more than just an above average musician.....I more than like Ricks music...and he's an all around nice guy...As an die hard fan of his there isnt I dont know about his music....and I can tell you some that has nothing to do with music

I remember him in the early 1970's (probably) doing a kids' Saturday morning live action/cartoon show. He had shoulder-length hair, and was presented as a David Cassidy type. He played a doctor on a soap opera too, in the '80's, didn't he?

Yes.....yes the morning cartoon was mission magic...ya gotta do what you have to to pay the bills...and the soap opera was general hospital...he did that for a year and a half and toured at the same time...Jessies Girl came out in 1981..of which he won the grammy. He had done several shows guest starring and several tv movies.

It's too bad that he's not a bigger star. Certainly there are better-known performers than Mr. Springfield with not half his talent.

I couldnt agree more!! The fans have been trying to get him his star on the walk of fame ..that we raised but so far in 6yrs he hasnt made the cut yet....like 30+yrs in the biz isnt enough credit...He also has a huge heart...

The Monkees, who sold more albums than did the Stones & Beatles combined in the yr. 1967, have yet to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Rick Springfield has a fine body of work in music & film out there which is no small accomplishment. He'll be appreciated long after we're long-dead & forgotten.
