It is based on the style Arnis. there is also some Wing Chun and some cali. Mostly Arnis. VERY effective style. I am a black belt in Kung Fu and I stay outside of Arnis. Both of these instructors know their stuff.
The last sequence (1.58 to 2.10) ended in a take down and lock that looks VERY much like one that I've seen the higher belts in the Ju Jitsu class that I'm attending practice for gradings...
@superkoopa001 Jeet Kune Do (JKD) concepts. It's a fighting style of all fighting styles, by that I mean it states that Striking, Grappling and Weapon arts need to synchronize and become universal to be complete rather than focusing on one aspect from one region. IE, if your going to learn Wing Chun hand trapping you should learn Jiu-Jitsu locks, or if your going to learn Judo you should learn BJJ submissions, etc. etc.
Sifu Simonet and Hernandez are top notch and know their craft.
