@beni1645 hes a horseman becuase darksiders revolve around the biblical "story" of the four horseman of the apocalypse (death, famine, war, conquest). its desribed in the last book of the new testament that the 4 horseman are are to set a divine apocalypse upon the world as harbingers of the Last Judgment. the first game revolved around the horseman of war. darksiders two however is the parralel story of war with the horseman of death as the main character. i hoped this clearified you

Okay...Simpsonwatcher described to you who war is and why he's a horseman... But you MAY not have been asking that (in my interpretations). Okay war travels to earth during the apocalypse but is falsely accused of starting the apocalypse to early. He is sent to the charred council and after being held their for 100 years he is sent back to earth stripped of his powers.. So no horse, high health, abilities, etc. The horse stayed on earth for that 100 years... war finds it later.

@SeymoreSparda i only have it because I pre ordered warhammer 40k. I will try it out when I get around to it, but it is a pc port from 2009 and pc ports only recently got good.

As far as steam goes, steam is easy to install and use now a days.

Also you shouldn't really expect much from titles prior to 2011 that got ported. It isn't steam or valve that ports a game over... it's the developers who made the original game. They only recently got good at porting.

I just started playing it this morning myself, if you're using a keyboard/mouse the controls can be a bit dodgey to get used to, first portion of the game was spent remapping all the keys myself, might be nice to invest in a USB controller or something, other than that though, thoroughly enjoying it so far. recommended game in my book.

This game owns. I don't know why but it reminds me of zelda in a satanist type. Like getting the items as the story goes, or in the sand lands where you get the horse, that reminds me of gerudo valley , recolecting the 7 parts of the sword pretty zeldaish and fighting avery temple-like place and then fighting the bosses, like a zelda with much blood and gore.
