Anyone who's tried to learn this piece knows it ties your mouth up in a knot sometimes while practicing it. Because of that sometimes your tone goes out the window. After saying that I'd like to say, good job! your tone stayed pretty good though the piece. And I believe this is the H.L. Clarke version if anyone is wondering
@etinyowaffles Dude. You should really listen to more trumpet players. There are masses of great female trumpet players out there. You have to look a little harder, but they're out there.
UM...Ever hear Leisel Whittaker? Lots of women with great technique, but Leisel is also the monster lead player for the Army Blues. I once asked a friend fof mine who is in the blues (who shall remain nameless) what the guys in the trumpet section thought about having a woman as a lead player... His reply was "SHE NEVER MISSES"!!!
Oh good grief. So there are Arban *and* a Clarke versions of this piece? Keep up the good work, fellow Bruin. I'm still bummed about our losses to both Stanford and Cal.
eh im gunna have trouble doing this on tuba :s

not to be sexist but usually women cannot play with very good range or technique. This is a breath of fresh air and very inspiring.
