ya yellow tangs are better in bigger tanks. i have a 37 gallon, and they're god awful in it. they pick on all my other fish, and he slowly looses bits and pieces of his fins because my tanks 2 small for him. its weird i was never able to keep one for more than 2 years
do u know wat ure talking about ocean reef life is fine and people taking a few (reefs) 75 gallons of the ocean is like taking 0.0000000000000000001 out of the whole ocean its fine and reefs regrow pretty fast in some cases plus people have set up fake reefs all over the ocean to help host reefs which has boosted the amount of reefs drastically!
Did you us a reef (Eco aqualizer) to keep your reef tank in crystal clear waters ? beucaes there great i have one too . monthly water changes for my tank. only 10 % of water chang eliminates cloudiness & yellowing of water..stabilizes ph and increases oxygen reduces the need for water changes restores water's natural equilibrium reduces GREEN algae and RED Slime 75 gal as well .you shoud check it out> its new and best of the year results within 48 hours
PLEASE I BEG OF YOU!! may you tell me how to get my live rock ready for my tank!? what do i need and how do i keep it live!!?!?!?!?!?!? PLEASE I BEG OF YOU!!
If the rock is alive then it is ready for the tank. If it is just dead rock then it needs to be "cured" for a while in a tank by itself or with damsels until it cycles. It will remain alive under even low lights once it has marine life growing in/on it.
Very nice tank! I'm setting up a 55 gallon reef tank now!!!

Could I put a yellow tang in a 30 gallon.

Not a good idea as they grow rather fast and are active swimmers. You "could" but it would not be wise

Thats cool but now that the oceans reef life is going down i stick with fake plants and corals
