This really is one of the most remarkable comedy routines I've ever seen, and I watch quite a bit of standup. Cho was so shockingly, brutally honest - listen to how many times laughs are tinged with gasps and cringes from the audience. I've read that she was still a little unsure of herself even as she did this routine - this was kind of the last part of therapy. Hilarious shit from one of the (unfortunately) few truly funny female comedians out there.

I can understand how she feels about not needing to be skinny, or even 10 pounds slimmer, for that matter, but I don't like that overweight/chubby people convince themselves into thinking that losing weight is impossible. All it takes is commitment and drive to look the way you want to look. But if she's truly happy, good for her. Her drastically slimmer appearance on Revolution, her 2005 special, leads me to think otherwise though.

I got to meet her a few years ago in St. Louis and she was fabulous! The nicest most respectable woman you'd ever want to meet. She was soooooo friendly after her show and so into her fans. She said how meeting her fans is what really keeps her going.

I made a shirt that she signed and I wanted to have her sign her autobio, but my husband didn't let me bring it and she called him a fag for it, I loved it!
