There's a floor with his feet! they keep scraping paint off them by catching on the inside when you put them in and out, I had to modify mine, file down the inside if his legs and repaint his feet, plus they are not gold in the first place? Hasbro????? why? they are darker in colour so I chose a dark aluminium colour! much better!

These 1st Edition figures are friggin glorious.

Completely slept on these, caught BB, RC and Starscream.

Then never saw them again, walked in to a target moth and a half later

and I run into Optimus, megs, Soundwave, CJ and Wheeljack. Then

I realize they are a different series of Prime figures. Hasbro now claims

they will try to re-release The 1st Edition line. Still R.I.D figs, thought

Lacking in Paint apps and being of a different scale are still

GREAT figures. Me being a BIG fan of Animated.

This is becoming way to frustrating and its like Hasbro Marketing still has not got a clue and do not intend on fixing distribution problem. To many Bee's n Prime's repaints lost out Que, Soundwave, Dino, and company for last of Movieverse figures I was interested in. Then role out the least impressive PRID substitute Bulkhead, I immediately got sick and laid money down on Takara version of FE Bulky.

I figure its money well spent condsidering I probably just bought my last Transformer till fall.

Hasblow knows how to push our buttons of late...its almost like they fired the folks who designed First Edition in favor of substandard RID line. Megs is the best, Optimus was not painted correctly, toss in some translucent crappy gimmicky weapons that are oversized and tada!

This past weekend showing at Toy Fair is EPIC fail on Hasbro's part and negates damage control addressing status of First Edition.

Now we can add to list MIA releases - DOTM Human Alliance Soundwave, deluxe Que & Soundwave, etc.

I look for Hasbro to mess up distribution of Generations figures this fall too. Half of Bruticus is our next nightmare.

Peaugh and company can vouch, these first edition figures were on display at the different shows last year with little tags that originally said for sale October (then strike through) December 2011. January 2012 came along and we get jipped of first edition, only to get new response?

Sorry for the confusion, but I love the design of First Edition figures. Do not like the decision by Hasbro to can First Edition before it made it fully to retail. Some reviews of Prime RID cant live up to First Edition (ie Prime First Edition Optimus Prime vs Prime RID Optimus Prime). Bulkhead First Edition is pure win and thankful Peaugh always shows these off to us in great style.

What blows is we will not be able to run to retail to find these awesome First Edition figures.

1. Good paint apps.

2. Nice engineering.

3.Movie accurate figures.

4. Weapons are from the movie unlike the mech tech which are also cool but never in the movie.

@lonewolf1147 Her toy is just a little taller in robot mode. They're both Deluxe class figures, and thus have about the same amount of plastic in them. However, Bumblebee is much wider than her.

The Transformers have always been a joint effort between both Hasbro and Takara, ever since the franchise began in the '80's.

Oh, and scale has almost always been consistently inconsistent.
