  • Rather Jeff Beck-ish

  • Excellent!

  • It's something curious 'cause it sounds as Vangelis' music... I think it's great. Very nice indeed.

  • really nice playing man, love the strats. SRV strat sweet !!!!

  • VERY nice and lol@ the guys who always pick random things to nag about.

  • great sounds my friend.....

  • sounds like u hit a wrong note at 0:27 otherwise very nice

  • I like it. a lot.

Could have done without the volume swells, though. They definitely require skill but I don't think they fit the song.

  • very interesting.

  • Sounding great Sam! Will you be at MF12? Charles

  • Was just thinking, it's been ages since we've seen the volume swell

  • is that a SRV strat?

  • People really seem to love this song. This song would put me to sleep fast. A sad downer of a song. But maybe that's what it's supposed to do, in which case...well done.

  • beautiful vibrato :D!

  • wonderful music man! great touch and tone.

    magic!

  • you should give it a go on classical guitar with tremelo. . .i had to play it for my diploma, its tough as nails! (nice reverb btw)

  • Sounds a bit like Silent Night, the christmas song.

  • Mind-boggling! Profound sadness spoken by your guitar strings...as we all know, the very best of music is felt, not heard...amazing work, Sam!

  • Todo un honor ver que alguien de fuera de España sabe valorar estas maravillosas obras. Excelente adaptación y un gran sonido, ¡ha sido un placer escucharte!

  • This just shows how diverse a player you are! You are phenomenally talented buddy! Thoroughly enjoyed this :D Really liked the chords you were using there!!

  • Agreed with Nasos, ultimate classical tremolo guitarist is Tarrega. Nice arrangement Sam.

  • wauu!!

  • awesome dude :D :D !!!!

  • sounding great man!

  • WOW!!!

    Beautiful, man!!!

  • Those strats sounded very nice especially the SRV. Very well played also. Calm yet powerful song.

  • There is a fantastic version by the great John Williams (La Ultima Cancion). I'd copy the link, but YT doesn't allow me to.

  • Try also Agustin Barrios Mangore. He was an insanely gifted composer and guitarist (back when guitar strings were still made by sheep intestine ;) ) and has written beautiful pieces. A wonderful tremolo of his goes by various names: "Una Limosna por el amor de dios" ("An alm for the love of God"), "La ultima cancion" or "El ultimo tremolo". Check it out!!!

  • One of the best known (if not THE most well known) tremolo pieces for classical guitar. I have played it countless times in the past.

    Cool transcription Sam!

  • awesome! I've listened to it twice in a row.

  • Nice! Is it linear potentiometer of volume?

  • How do you do your videos. What do you use to record and all that?

    thanks

  • Can't wait for the next tracks to come !

  • Do you own that SRV Strat, Sam?

  • Your comment says it all haunting yet beautiful, great job!

  • Amazing work as always Sam! I must ask, do you own all of these guitars or are you borrowing from guitarworks and such?

  • twas pretty good, but nothing tops /watch?v=-jDRRmLoqiE but it's cool how you made it work with the electric guitars. beautiful tone!

  • Well, you asked for feedback. I think one of the most soul moving songs you have ever played was the Gary Moore Tribute. That song or something similar would be a great choice for your new CD.

  • awesome love the violining

  • Cant wait for the album, hopefully can get them on itunes

  • Relaxing... I like it

  • how do you get that volume swell violin tone?

  • @roccckkerrr Volume knob. :)

  • hey sam i love the cover you did here. I think the volume swells are dope man.

  • @TheGreatToopi You may be referring to Sam's volume swelling technique in this particular song.

  • I was watching a few of your older videos and noticed that over the past few years your picking hand style has changed from what appears to be resting on the body to now floating in some of you more recent videos. I'm curious to know the genesis of this style change since your picking technique seemed quite good to me, even on your oldest videos. Also, have you noticed a marked improvement since changing to the style you employ now.

  • Not really my favorite kind of music but if I had to listen to it... well nice playing by you anyway.

  • Your album will come out really kickass!! Great Job, great tune! Love it!

  • Sam, is that a custom GT-10 sound? Would you share the settings please?

  • Fantastic, Sam! What a joy to listen to!!!!!

  • Just really calming and beautiful.

  • Just beautiful man!

  • sounding sick man
