doesnt the gto insert on the bottom of the rear bumper light up? cuz i saw on the other night and their insert did that but i was just wondering if it did it on your car...
They have reflective "tape" that can be inserted into the stock GTO space... It makes it look like it lights up. It would be possible to customize it so that it does light up though if someone wanted to.
What a shame that Pontiac made these cars look so incredibly ugly. No wonder Pontiac is now history, they have engineers who made a 400 hp car look like a senior citizens no frills grocery-getter. I cant stop shaking my head. Its almost as hideous as a Honda Civic.

My cammed LS2 makes 390 rwhp on an unlocked converter...410 on a locked converter. This is pretty much on par with every other mild cammed LS2 I've ever encountered. 400 at the flywheel is certainly not underrated.

actually if you did your supposed "research" you'd see the LS2 makes 450 rated by GM since the LS series motors were orginally corvette motors and all T/A , Camaros , GTO's all they are are under-rated corvettes....easily the LS2 puts 398 to 405HP to the wheels....with any kind of internals work like that you can easily get more then 430 to the wheels....forced induction you will get even more be it NOS/Turbo/SC or w/e he chooses....You and bean obviously dont know jackshit about cars so stfu k?
in the gtos, the ls1 is rated at 350/365 crank and the ls2 is rated 400/400. not sure where you're getting 450 from, but i can assure you it is wrong. i WISH my car made 450 crank from the factory. they are not under rated.

All GTOs, Camaros,T/A's are under-rated Corvettes they arent as expensive for those that cant spend 40,000$+ for a vette coup let alone 60k$ for a Z06. The LS2 is rated for 450HP but to the wheels is 400HP

LS1 was on the Ward's 10 Best Engines list for 1998........1997-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5, excluding Z06 i wonder why only a year after the 97' corvette did any other car get a LS1....hmmm maybe cause it was MADE FOR THE CORVETTE YOU DUMB FUCK

again, thats what a cam does to a V8. lumpy lumpy lumpy sound. Ive got a cammed 5.0 litre V8 and it sounds just like this.

lol, do you own a new GTO? probably not or you would know that the aftermarket Cam doesnt ruin the warranty, So stop trying to sound smart. the only way it would void the warrant is if it was the direct problem to the defect that the warrranty would normally cover. How do i know this? i own a 2005 GTO and guess what! I have the warranty in my glove box! woohoo.

My cammed LS2 makes 390 rwhp on an unlocked converter...410 on a locked converter. This is pretty much on par with every other mild cammed LS2 I've ever encountered. 400 at the flywheel is certainly not underrated.

actually if you did your supposed "research" you'd see the LS2 makes 450 rated by GM since the LS series motors were orginally corvette motors and all T/A , Camaros , GTO's all they are are under-rated corvettes....easily the LS2 puts 398 to 405HP to the wheels....with any kind of internals work like that you can easily get more then 430 to the wheels....forced induction you will get even more be it NOS/Turbo/SC or w/e he chooses....You and bean obviously dont know jackshit about cars so stfu k?

in the gtos, the ls1 is rated at 350/365 crank and the ls2 is rated 400/400. not sure where you're getting 450 from, but i can assure you it is wrong. i WISH my car made 450 crank from the factory. they are not under rated.

All GTOs, Camaros,T/A's are under-rated Corvettes they arent as expensive for those that cant spend 40,000$+ for a vette coup let alone 60k$ for a Z06. The LS2 is rated for 450HP but to the wheels is 400HP

sorry to break it to you, but you are wrong. a stock ls2 gto is rated 400/400 and is not under rated. they dyno anywhere from 335 to 360 stock, depending what type of dyno you are on and how "happy" it is.

and incase you didnt know, the ls1 and ls6 are the same motor. the ls6 uses a slightly hotter cam than the ls1 and the ls6 heads flow more. same heads they put on the ls2 one year later.
