I am glad to have had Ted do a concert for me. The audience was stunned and could not believe he was not the real thing. Ted is wonderful to work with and I strongly recommend him for your next show or benefit he does draw the crowds.
Have you ever met Jim Curry. He was in Aspen singing at the Wheeler concerts. Does a great show with symphonies orchestra’s. Saw him with the Kansas City Symphony, with Lee Holdridge directing (JD’s conductor for years). Also had Pete Huttlanger, JD's guitar player and his drummer Richie Garcia with him. The concert was great. I’m just curious if you ever met him? Maybe you can do something together sometime. Sure would be fun to see that! I’m going to Jim's Cincinnati Pops concert this Nov.
You sure look a little like JD! You’re hair & glasses are right out of the 70’s! It’s amazing! I saw you in Aspen last fall when you were singing on the street corner. Will you be there again this Oct? It’s so pretty there! I live in Washington (Maple Falls area) but had not heard of you before seeing you in Aspen. I have seen Steve Weisburg before with another JD tribute artist though, Jim Curry.
Having been a John Denver fan for +25 years and attended 23 concerts - most in Atlanta, Georgia - and one in Red Rocks, Colorado - this is scary good!!!!!!! And I do love Ted's attitude of "I have my own voice" which is wonderful because I can hear Ted - and he ain't bad - and I can hear John Denver spirit - and that is wonderful!!! Denver would say "What is all the fuss about?" and "Where is my 12 string - let me help you out!!"
What a great interview! And such a great tribute to John. Ted, John would be sooo honored by the job you are doing, by keeping his music and memory alive in the way that you do. Don't let other people's opinions regarding the fact that you look like John get you down or detract you in any way! Keep on going!! They don't ever get on the Elvis inpersonators, and they're trying to look like Elvis! You come by your looks naturally.
I have always regretted not seeing John Denver in concert...& Ted Vigil allows me to still feel as though I am experiencing the wonderful music of a man I always admired. Thank you, Ted for continuing to share the music & magic of John!
great find thanks for posting I love both jd and ted. thanks again for a wonderful post and if u have any more videos of jd or ted please post them if u can!!
Ted's very good, but he needs to work on his diction when he sings 'those' songs.John's diction was nearly always perfect.

I believe in spirits and ghosts and I think John Denver is still here. This kind of stuff is rare and there's always a reason for them.
